Can i take cod liver oil capsules to improve my hair strength?

Hi. To answer your question, I haven't heard any thing about fish oil having benefits to promote hair growth. But it is good for you if you have NF2, because fish oil contain the main ingredient Omega-3 fatty acid. Omega-3 has shown benefits for strengthening the nervous system and heart. There was a famous study done on school children in the Philippines who took Omega-3 and those who did not. The ones who did had higher IQ scores, suggesting their brains developed more. As for hair growth, Vitiman B would be better. Try taking whey protein shakes. They are a rich source of various types of vitamin B. Also Nuegenia shampoo with T-gel can promote growth. -- Dan

How can i Thicken/volumize my hair????

Well, its good to let your hair just be natural for a few days with out straightening it or whatever... but you can get a product called curls rock, by catwalk...and you put it on and use a defuser on your blow dryer and its gives you shine and voulme... yet it will be some what curly and wavy.... but it looks nice... trust me, I have curly hair and I hate it. Now, if you want to straighten it, you can use a product called Cream Press. Its made for African Americans, but it works wonders on my hair and I am white. I can go almost 3 days without washing my hair.. and it stays shiny and its great. I love it. So, good luck! Hope you find the right answer!

How can i Thicken/volumize my hair????

To keep it straight and add volume, blow dry, with a brush upside down.

How can i Thicken/volumize my hair????

A good way to make your hair Look like it has volume is to put your hair up like that and push it forward.

http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images...

You can take a smaller piece and pin it back with a bobby pin or a clip. I do it a lot and its really easy. Try volumizing shampoo. Search online for different kinds!

How can i Thicken/volumize my hair????

theres this shampoo called Organix.... its kinda pricey but it works soooooo gooood!

How can i Thicken/volumize my hair????

Pantene Pro-V Volumizing Mousse- it does all of the above!

How can i Thicken/volumize my hair????

i would go to your hair cutter place and ask them what they use in your hair, because usually your hair will be shiny and sleak after the hair cutters. They will most likeley sell that shampoo there. good luck!

How can i Thicken/volumize my hair????

when you go to dry it ( air dry whatever) use a blow drier and flip Ur hair and dry it until its all dry. when you go to straighten it instead of going down take a piece of hair and straighten it out not flipped out just go out...

How can i Thicken/volumize my hair????

use the pantenn pro v (however you spell that) volume shampoo. use also Dove straight and soft styling cream. or use Motions like my sister. its in a yellow container with a purple cover and you can get it in dollar city

How can i Thicken/volumize my hair????

I need to find a good hair stylist for men in the Los Angeles area. Preferrably someone who knows la

Ive cut my hair at some great places in Los angeles, but no one has cut my hair great yet. I have thick latino hair and everyone seems to cut it super short with bad layers that dont work well as if I had thin hair. I want a good modern cut. Thanks!

Major major hair help!!!!!!?

OK, so i have reeeeeeeeeeeeaallllllllllllllly boring, ugly, stupid, dry hair. I HATE it. I want super lustrous locks with hardly any split ends. I have A LOT of split ends. EVERY strand is split. YUCK! And I have thin hair, yet i still manage to get millions and billions of fly aways. So i am majorly in need of hair help. I need a shampoo, conditioner, hair deffrizzer,etc.- whatever you think i need. And please be specific too, like instead of "try Bumble and Bumble," say something like "Bumble and Bumble Creme de Coco is awesome" or whatever. Speaking of Bumble and Bumble, what is the best type (Of course only if you recomend it).

So, i neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed the WHOLE shenanigan- shapoo, conditioner, extra creme rinse- what ever you think i need. Thank you very much!!!!!

Major major hair help!!!!!!?

After you cut two inches off your hair

Wash your hair with:

Redken Shampoo: Clear Moisture Shampoo

Redken Conditioner: Clear Moisture Conditioner

On towel dried hair apply:

Redken Clear Moisture Instant Polishing Prep

TIGI Catwalk Root Boost

Blow dry with:

Revelon's Round Thermal Brush with Ionic + Ceramic Technology (can be purchased at Ulta or drugstore)

Invest in a good flat iron, I like Chi Hair Straightener by Farouk

Finish off with TIGI Catwalk Work It Hairspray

Major major hair help!!!!!!?

First thing to get rid of split ends, use sunsilk protein shampoo (if not available then any protein shampoo) and increase the amount of protein from your diet.

Pantene ice shine is the best conditioner I've used

After you wash your hair put like 5-6 drops of shine serum on your palm and work through hair.

Then Tie hair in a neat bun till dries.

you'll get the locks you want.

Major major hair help!!!!!!?

Why don't you get the split ends cut off, and ask your hairdresser for some ideas.

Major major hair help!!!!!!?

For frizz I use TRESemme Shine Spray. I use ultra light, but you might want a higher up one. It comes in a spray bottle and it's clear. I also use Pantene Style Body Builder Volumizing Mousse.. just if you want it. Uhmm... my shampoo/conditioner won't help you. It's just normal. I think it's like herbal essences or something s hit. To get rid of the split ends you need to go get a haircut. It does wonders haha. Good luck!

Major major hair help!!!!!!?

Kat, you need moisture! Redken or another name brand is best, as you usually get what you pay for. A Moisturizing shapoo, a moisture rich conditioner and a regular treatment of a leave-in conditioner would be a great start. Stay out of dry weather as much as possible, Humidify areas you can control (i.e. your home, work, anything poss.) Roll the windows up at higher speeds, Wind is a killer!

Good luck! You may have to cut off the splits to get healthy hair.

Major major hair help!!!!!!?

First. you need to figure out why you have split ends. Is your hair long or short. Do you colorize/perm your hair. The split ends need to be cut off for your hair to be healthy. Any shampoo/conditioner that states it is for dry hair will work if you use it correctly. I use Pantene shampoo/conditioner combination for color treated hair and have been very happy with it for several years. Do you use a hair dryer? If you do, set it on the coolest setting you can and the lowest speed. Use a large round brush while drying to add volume. Adding gel to my hair before drying (when it was longer) worked better than mousse - but everyone is different. You may have to experiment with several products before finding one that you really like. Now that my hair is quite short, I don't use the gel. If you use a curling iron, again, put it on the lowest heat you can to avoid damaging your hair. After using a curling iron on my own hair, I spray it with Mink Hairspray and then fluff it around to arrange it the way I want. For me, that works better than any gel or mousse. I hope this helps you a little.

Major major hair help!!!!!!?

I forgot which kind but I know sunsilk gas a great shampoo.

Get a deep conditioner from sally's.

Get some vo5 hot oil treatments and use one every two weeks and get the ands trimmed every month..

What is the best hair style for a blonde at age 48? with thin hair?

my grandma wants a new hairstyle, but doesn'tnow how to do her hair, plz help!

What is the best hair style for a blonde at age 48? with thin hair?

It basically depends on the shape of her face. You can easily *** lift to your hair if you find someone who knows what they are doing.

Something like these would work for almost any face shape and would totally be age appropriate but sexy...

Well, i think a bun with CHinese Sticks hair would be nice, like my photo, you could click on it, and see if you like. And Yahoo Avatars could help you too.

What is the best hair style for a blonde at age 48? with thin hair?

Nothing past the jaw bone. Once you're nearing your 50s long hair looks rediculous. But the actual style would depend on the shape of her face and type of hair (curley, wavey, straight).

What is the best hair style for a blonde at age 48? with thin hair?

WoW... yur grandpas 48?? thats scarey... =0

What is the best hair style for a blonde at age 48? with thin hair?

It has to be a bob hairstyle because it is so cool and also if she wants to have a fab hairstyle it will be that hairstyle and if she has long hair she can cut it short and do a bob hairstyle with blonde hair and also she can do it if she wants to do it. It will be the best hairstyle ever 'cause if her old hairstyle is boring she has to get the bob hairstyle and also it will look fab on her because if she has thin blonde hair that is short or long she can cut it and change it to a bob hairstyle look and she can keep it that way and it if it looks awesome on her she can keep it that way and also she can even do lots of stuff to it and she can even put a flower in her hair with her bob hairstyle look and it will look fab on her and it will be awesome. If her hair is so long she can do the same thing with scissors and also she can do the bob hairstyle if she wants to and if she does want to do it she can do it if she has to do it or just wants to do it. If she has thin hair she needs to cut it short for a bob hairstyle and keep it that way if she loves it. If her hair looks thicker and thinner at the same time with the bob hairstyle she can keep it so much.

What is the best hair style for a blonde at age 48? with thin hair?

cut it short

What is the best hair style for a blonde at age 48? with thin hair?

is her hair long or short you didn't mention

thank you

What is the best hair style for a blonde at age 48? with thin hair?

Thin, blonde hair... the best advice to give you would be this:

Tell your grandma that since she has THIN hair, she needs to cut it short. Cutting it short, makes hair appear and feel a lot thicker! She needs layers and for length, it should be at the jaw line. The length and layers would give it body and style. Also tell her to keep it blonde if she likes it, because there is nothing wrong with her hair color!

Hope this helps! I promise she will like it if she does exactly as I said!

Hair product advice!?

Hi!

I have quite thin hair which is cut just above my shoulders. I like to have it quite messy looking and give it a lot of volume, but all the products I use only last for an hour or so then my hair goes flat again :(

Anyone know anything that would work for me?

Any reputable brand of volumising shampoo and then dry your hair upside down and then style the way you want.

Hair product advice!?

Volumising mousse and spray

Hair product advice!?

Gel and hair spray should help you. Just use the ones that contain no alcohol unless they will make your hair fall out.

Hair product advice!?

Try the big sexy hair line...it works for my sister...her hair is so thin and straight. Getting a few subtle layers also helped her to achieve the look. GL:)

Hair product advice!?

Hey i have exactly the same problem.

I DO blow dry it upside down though and use curling products even though my hair is straight.

I also use a build up removal shampoo.. over conditioning makes my hair REALLY flat.

If in doubt.. dont brush your hair for a few weeks.. and buy dreading wax.... you'll have messy volume in no time!

How to get loose curls for long hair using a 1 inch iron?

I have thin hair, about 4-5 inches away from my bottom. My hair is thin and I have top layers. I use my corioliss straightner now to curl my hair, but it only does medum sized curls. But I want big, loose ones. %26amp;my Conair Curler is only 1 inch, but my friends do big curls with it. So can somebody get back at me w/ what else i could do to get loose curls?

How to get loose curls for long hair using a 1 inch iron?

* Hair dryer

* Brush

* Comb

* Volumizing gel or mousse

* Hair clips to section hair

* Hot rollers and pins

* Hair spray

Step 1:

Consider your hair texture and length. If your hair is long and has a medium or thick texture, it will be best suited for Hayden Panettiere閳ユ獨 hair style.

Step 2:

Wash and dry your hair before beginning the styling process.

Step 3:

Plug in your hot roller set to begin heating.

Step 4:

Apply a light styling gel, focusing on roots for maximum body.

Step 5:

Using a comb, section off the hair and clip it into place. You should have three main sections.

Step 6:

Working from front to back, begin by taking a two inch section and combing it smooth. Apply a soft hold hair spray, then slide the roller down the length of the hair, wrap the end of the hair around the roller and roll up toward the scalp. Secure the roller in place.

Step 7:

When all sections of the hair have been secured in hot rollers, leave the rollers to set for 20 minutes.

Step 8:

Carefully remove the rollers, until all have been removed.

Step 9:

Flip your head upside down and gently separate the curls with your fingers. Flip your head back and carefully put the curls into place. Finish with a final spray of hair spray.

i'm a girl. and in the area between my breasts, there's a field of short thin light hair. does that turn you off guys? and there are some short thin hairs around my nipple. the chest hair is NOT visible unless you are very close to me or looking down my body.

I have chest hair.?

I have chest hair.?

if its not visible, i dont think i would be a mayjor problem. but if it bugs you that much wax it .

I have chest hair.?

I'm not a guy so I can't tell you whether or not it's a turn-off, but I can tell you it's normal; your body grows hair over every bit of it except the palms of your hands and the soles of your feet- some areas more than others and some people more than others. However, if it bothers you, you have many choices for removal from a depilatory to electrolysis.

Hair helpppp.?

I have quite straight, thin hair. It annoys me because it goes flat really easily. Does anyone know any quick ways of getting some volume into my hair?I dont have time to blow dry it in the morning.

Hair helpppp.?

I agree with Kira...I've tried what she says %26amp; it works.Lots of time I'll go to bed with wet hair which for some reason makes it fluffier in the morning from sleeping on it, then I just use my curling iron or straigtener to get out the waves or lumps.I also have very thin wavy hair.Sure wish I had gorgeous thick hair like most people!

Hair helpppp.?

Use shampoo which helps with volume.

Hair helpppp.?

After you normally do your hair at night, a really easy trick, and im not going against your blowdryer issues, lower you haed and spray soem volume gel/ spray, spray is the best, then blowdry iunderneath your hair, it makes it volumus and pretty, also if you part your hair to the side, part it a little to bit too centered, then when u wake up, move it more to the side and it will have lots of volume, goood luck!!

Hair helpppp.?

Then bring back my head up and she was right I find it so beautiful with more volumes.Try it.

Hair helpppp.?

im a stylist nd u just pointed out the solution u dnt blow dry but u dont have to spend ages with the blowdryer just blast your hair till its dry dnt even use a brush head forwards and dry toward the floor its all about root uplift and if you have fine hair it wont take long there is also a really great product u gan get anywhere online or instore at sally's or salon services it is called upload its schwarzkopf from osis its the best product in the salon and is worth buying its under 鎷?0 but its a big bottle and will last u months as u dnt need much apply on wet/damp hair only pea size spred through hair evenly your hair will look much thicker and will have more volume with extra shine let me know how u get on . have fun!

Will hair extentions be ok?

I have very thin hair and cannot do a lot with it. I have booked in to get hair extentions next week and am just wondering what are some absolutely necessary things I should get the hairdresser to do or ask her? My hair goes half way between my bra strap and shoulders. And are there and hair styles I should try?

Will hair extentions be ok?

I suggest getting the stylist to layer your hair with the extentions and add lots of texture . If your stylist is good and knows what she or he is doing then extrensions is fine. Also if you want to save money when u take them out go buy some baby oil and completly soak your hair in it and let set 15-30 mins when u touch or pull at extension they should very easlliy and painlessly fall right out then shampoo as normal

Will hair extentions be ok?

My hair is so thin and I cant do a thing with it! So I bought a set of extentions from Sally's and they clip in. It gave my hair so much volume and length. When it comes to styles with thinner hair one length works best. Layers tend to make it look thin and unhealthy with extentions. Hope I helped a bit :)

Will hair extentions be ok?

I have had them before and I loved them!

I never did anything with mine I just left it down and it was pretty!

Will hair extentions be ok?

yah there awesome just hard 2 take care of!

How to keep hair straight?

Hi!

I have mid-length, thin hair and I wear collarerd shirts for school. I straighten my hair everyday, using heat protective spray, and my hair tends to stay straight when I'm not in school! At school I think the collar on my shirt causes my hair to flick and look a mess :(

Any ideas about what I could do to keep it straight?

Thankyou so much :)

How to keep hair straight?

John Freida makes a hairspray called moisture barrier. After you've straightened your hair, and preferably if you're using a round brush, spray the brush with the hair spray, and brush through your hair. It should distribute the spray through out without giving it the hairspray feel, but should keep it straight all day. Thats what I do and it works great!

How to keep hair straight?

you can use pomade.

it can feel kind of gross, like you have oily hair.

but it keeps your hair in place and it doesn't even look like you have anything in it :]

How to keep hair straight?

Shave it off? =-)

How to keep hair straight?

For straightening hair at home, you can use a hair iron and a straightening shampoo will also help. If you wish to straighten for a longer time, you can undergo Japanese hair straightening. I found this website useful http://hcr.in/straighten.html

How to keep hair straight?

Quit wearing high collard shirts.

Hair Thinning Scissors?

Does any one know how to use them? I'm going to get one of my relatives to do it, but I need to know how they should do it. My hair is super thick and it needs to be thinned for summer.

Thanks in Advance!

Hair Thinning Scissors?

The comb part of the scissors goes on top of the hair, the actual scissor part goes underneath the hair. I have super thick hair too and when I was younger my mom always thinned my hair. Basically just take a section and make a couple of cuts, starting a few inches from the scalp. Do this around your hair. Start off slow, you don't want to cut off too much at first. As my mom always says, "you can always take more off but you can't put it back on!" Have fun and I hope this helps!

Hair Thinning Scissors?

Thinning shears usually make the problem worse.....If you thin the hair towards the scalp it will add volume.......To have a pro do some vertical slicing in your under lengths with a razor

Hair Thinning Scissors?

DO NOT use thinning shears near the root of the hair and not the ends, make sure you cut right in the middle. Thinning shears are used a lot to blend hair too so you don't have straight choppy layers. If one of your relatives have a "razor" that would be better to thin out hair.

Hair Thinning Scissors?

I am a hair stylist, most salons will charge less if you are only getting thinned. I charge $5.00 the price of a bang trim. You want to be careful if you do it your self. Texture and shape of the hair will effect how you will need to thin it.

Hair Thinning Scissors?

I'd seriously consider letting a professional do it. You don't want to have Aunt Suzy (or whoever) leave you looking like a poodle.

Hair Thinning Scissors?

If you want thinner hair and a fun, choppy style, you can try this instead of using scissors: While your hair is damp, twist small chunks of hair and run a shaving razor over the hair, starting toward the top making rapid strokes, to letting it taper off to the ends. Make sure the razor is new so it is sharp enough. Just try it a little bit with smaller chunks of hair at first, and if you like what's happening, play around with it some more :)

Damaged hair - advice please?

I have blonde hair on top, brown underneath. It is shoulder length at the most and very thin.

I used to have a condition called Trichotillomania where I would tug on my hair in handfulls into it broke. So as you can imagine my hair is very very broken and uneven.

I had my hair trimmed a week ago, and I was looking at the ends today and about 2cm up the shaft from the ends all the strands were broken. This seems to be the case no matter how many times I have my hair trimmed.

I have tried deep conditioning treatments but they don't seem to help at all. I have cut down my straightening so I only straighten 2 times a week, I have a GHD and use straightening spray that helps prevent damage. I also use loreal shampoo and conditioner and loreal silver shampoo.

I currently have glue in hair extensions, I am getting them taken out in a few months because they are damaging my hair. Will clipin ones look ok in my thin hair? Any advice?

Damaged hair - advice please?

Firstly- it sounds to me like your natural hair colour is Brown so don't dye your hair blonde...Ever!

Start fresh cut your hair into a neat bob it will grow back thick and lovely.

Don't Straighten your hair excessively. try let its dry naturally.

Take out your Hair extentions they will make your hair worse. the glue damages your hair and don't use clipin ones either your hair may break.

All these over priced hair products actually do nothing special for your hair so there is no point in buying them.

Your hair is propbably also like this beacuse you have a poor diet try and eat lots of fruit and veg and drink plenty of water.

Your hair will grow back nice and thick if you follow all these steps. Good Luck.

Damaged hair - advice please?

Hmm... You shouldn't really worry too much about your hair. I suggest that you don't use conditioner on your scalp--just use it on the parts between your roots and your ends. Also, remember to shampoo thoroughly. Oh, and one more thing--try not to get your hair straightened/permed etc. too much, as they will damage your hair.

Damaged hair - advice please?

look...your hair is damaged b/c of what you are doing to it...coloring and glueing stuff in it...keep on deep conditoning and stop dying it and putting in weaves...just do a style where your hair can be by itself without a lot of product for a couple months...

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

I always had thin hair at the crown of my head, but in the past 2 years it's gotten a lot thinner and my scalp is showing more then before. Also, I have crazy periods where i don't have periods for about 3 months and i KNOW i'm not pregnant. I've had my period for about three years and i am 15yrs. right now. I've also had dizy spells from low blood sugar. Could all of these be a factor to my hair loss? Is it my Horomones? Or everything combined?

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

It probably does have something to do with your hormones especially if your not eating enough. Not eating enough of food and not getting the proper vitamins and minerals daily can cause these symptoms. Proper nutrition helps regulate natural body functions.

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

Good news is that your hairloss is not permanent but you need to go to the doctor ASAP and get some blood work done.

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

those all seem to be symptoms of someone who is undergoing a lot of stress...if you have had or are having stressful or tramatic events in your life, this could be why.

your feelings can effect your body physically, so if you are over stressed, this could be the cause of your problems physically.

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

doctor mayb its gentics

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

It could be all of them combined. It sounds like stress. Do you take vitamins? When I was around 17 I started losing my hair. It used to be so thick and it got really thin and fine. I needed to take vitamins (I wasn't eating well). You should go to the doctor and have some blood work done.

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

Go see your dr. and ask about your thyroid. All those symptoms could be a thyroid problem and there is a simple blood test. It is a more common problem in middle aged women but I know several teenage girls with thyroid problems.

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

Have you ever had your thyroid checked? Maybe you should go to the Dr for a health checkup, you are too young to be having hair loss at the age of 15.

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

It's not the cut or style, honey but the texture of your hair that's driving you nuts! What you need is a lot of patience and some good hair product to tame that hair of yours. I know Bumble and Bumble or Kerastase make some excellent products. You're simply gonna have to either wash and wear or take the time to work it and make it look good!

Please! Any hair advice?

i would suggest going to a good hair salon and asking the stylist what cut would work best with you hair. Even if you go to a salon with a picture it might not work with your hair. The stylist will give you options and you can make up your mind then, they also will suggest products to help with your situation and show you how to style it.

Please! Any hair advice?

Oh, I am there with ya! I have the thickest hair around and I have found that since it is so thick, it looks better long. The longer the hair, the more weight it will have so it won't be so puffy. Having long layers will help with the thickness of it too. You can try a curling lotion for the front of the hair so it would look more uniformed to the back.

Please! Any hair advice?

I have naturally curly hair. First off I do not have layers cut into it. You need to grow out your hair. The weight of long hair, keeps the curls from going crazy.

You can try a perm to ease the curls and define them more. I fight mine everyday. Either you deal with hot irons or perms. Or just go wild. Its your choice.

Please! Any hair advice?

go to Blackhair.com and you dont have to be black to do the styles.I also have super thick and curly hair but i get it relaxed

Please! Any hair advice?

It sounds like you need a relaxer. Your hair is probably overly bountiful in the area of body. If you can relax the curl, you may be happier with what you already have.

Any disadvantages to using a hair thinner on the hair?

I should explain that it looks like a scissors but has grooves on the cutting edge so that it just thins the hair but doesn't change the hairstyle.. My kids have VERY thick hair and i am enjoying using the hair thinner thingy on them. They are looking so civilized for once. will it have a bad effect in the long run?

Any disadvantages to using a hair thinner on the hair?

They are called thinning shears and please be very careful using them If you cut it too close to the scalp your gonna have little hairs sticking everywhere and make sure you dont use them in one spot if they have long hair make sure you cut it somewhat in the middle of the hair shaft. just dont go to crazy with it

Any disadvantages to using a hair thinner on the hair?

The disadvantage would be in overdoing it, and it doesn't sound like you've done that. Another disadvantage might be in what it looks like when their hair gets longer, but that's not relevant if you keep it short or medium length. There's no permanent effect if hair grows out, and it almost always does. Do the kids like it as much as you do?

Pomeranian's hair thinning?

My pom, about two and a half years old, had her first litter this past June. Since the pups have been weened and sent off to their new homes her hair has gradually been thinning. She has no other problems and is as happy and energetic as ever and no lack in appetite. Could this be a hormonal thing, and common in other dogs? Any supplimentals that I could give her? It is getting colder and I really don't want to do the rediculous and buy her clothes to keep her warm.

Pomeranian's hair thinning?

Most double-coated b*tches do a major coat blow about 10 weeks post whelp. They can go down to darn near nekkid (fun to see the black skin of a Samoyed as the breeze blows the fur).

Strip out as much fur as possible and brush regularly to stimulate new growth. Feed a high quality food to help support new hair growth.

Clothing her will discourage new coat growth.

Pomeranian's hair thinning?

It isn't uncommon for a female to 'blow' coat during or after pregnancy. It is one of the heartbreaks of showing! I have a little one that really lost hair shortly after delivery and it is now growing back, the pups are 7 weeks old.

One product that many rescuers purchase and swear it will grow coat on a bowling ball is Sea Meal sold by Solid Gold. You use a very little added to your dogs' food. Here it is online: http://www.solidgoldhealth.com/products/...

Good luck. I think you will like the product because it is full of great things for your dog.

Pomeranian's hair thinning?

I also have a pomeranian. You should really go to the vet because that isn't a good thing. Make sure you don't wash her constantly because that causes hair loss. Just brush her out and take her to the vet.

Hope all goes well. Good luck! and congrads on the new puppies!!!

Curling/Waving hair with GHDS?

I have extremely thin hair, as in really really thin but i want to wave it or curl it with my ghds. The problem is my ghds are the wide plate ones not the small thin plate ones, can i still do it with them and how? i tried it once and it didnt work

Curling/Waving hair with GHDS?

If they are the widest plate ones then no - you are going to pull your hair too much, if they are the medium (1 inch/2.5 cm) plates, then they will work perfectly.

Take a small section of hair, place the GHD's at the roots of your hair, turn the irons upwards by 180 degrees (so that the hair that you are about to pull through is standing upright in the iron), then pull down (keeping the irons upright) you should be left with a lovely ringlet style curl.

Curling/Waving hair with GHDS?

I can only suggest that you have a go... I have curled my own hair with ghd's but they're the thin ones. The trick is to grip a piece of hair, turn the ghd's back on themselves by a half turn, and keeping the piece of hair really taught move the ghd's all the way down to the end of the piece. Good luck!

My hair! help me?

How do you make African American hair thicker? I have thin hair i was it to be thick. Plus some people say i wash it too much. Help me! If u know someone that do Weave Wrap, that make the hair look like ur own. e-mail me please. I live in Chicago so help me. Please.

My hair! help me?

Get calcium in your body. Drink milk or take calcium pills. To grow longer, your hair needs to be healthy. The calcium will strengthen it.

Go out in the sun. The sun provides your body with vitamin D. When you go out you will get the vitamin D and your body will use it on your nails, hair, etc. making them longer and thicker.

Do not style your hair everyday with harmful products and styling tools! This will only make your hair split, which will make it thinner and damaged. Then you will have to cut it again! Do not use hairspray! Hairspray basically burns your hair. If you do use gel, make sure it says something like heat protection, or moisturizer on the bottle. That way it is semi protecting your hair. You can get these products anywhere, and at a low cost! Go to Big Lots, Right Aid, Target, and many other stores.

Rehydrate your hair. Most likely its not growing because of heat damage. Go to places like Target, the Dollar store, or even rite aid and purchase hair lotion. At Target they have these pink bottles for two dollars that have lotion for your hair in them. You can put it in your hair in the morning and leave it on all day. It will strengthen your hair and make it thicker and longer. Another great product you can get it at rite aid. It's called Frizz - Ease critical care. You put it on in the shower, let it sit, and then rinse it off.

Wash your hair with de - frizz shampoos and conditioners. One product for example would be Garnier. By de -frizzing your hair it will get healthier, thus grow more!

Eat healthy. What you eat is what you are, so if you eat all fast food, let's just say your hair might not be pretty. From all the unnecessary fats the hair can become thinner and more prone to damage.

Trim your hair often. When I say trim I do not mean cut off an inch! I mean once a week or once a month take off an itsy bitsy bit of hair. Everyone has different types of hair so depending on your texture cut it at shorter or longer intervals.

Exercise. The healthier you are, the faster and thicker your hair will grow. If you swim, always wash your hair out afterwards, because chlorine dries your hair out so fast!

Loose the soda. Water and milk will make your hair happier, soda won't.

Go a few days without washing it. I know some of you have greasy hair so your thinking, no way! Well just leave it unwashed when your on vacation, camping, over the weekend, or leave it in a pony tail.

HELP!?

Hair falls due to genetic reasons, stress, pollution, thyroid imbalance, chemicals in hair styling products and lack of proper nutrition. About female hair thinning.?

I am almost 36 years old and my hair is thinning on top. I have heard that after pregnancy a woman can loose hair, but my youngest one is about 20 months old now! I am no longer nursing either. Can you give me any suggestions on what I can do (or NOT do) or what I can eat to help re-stimulate hair growth? I am taking a multivitamin as well as a Vitamin B complex tablet. Hope someone can help me. Thanks.

About female hair thinning.?

I would have a doctor check your hormone levels...if it's a problem like that usually fixing the hormonal imbalance (which can result after pregnancy) will fix the hair loss problem

Multivitamins helping hair loss?

I am 16 and since the age of 13,I have had very thin hair all around my head and it is so bad, my whole scalp is visable in the sunlight even when i have a good 3 inches of hair.

I started taking multivitamins about 3 weeks ago and since then, my hair has become visable thicker.

Does this mean that I have a deficiency of a certain vitamin or so, or do others with male pattern baldness also get thicker hair when they eat multivitamins?

Multivitamins helping hair loss?

hair loss sometimes has to do with diet

Multivitamins helping hair loss?

I Don't know but multiVitamins are So good for your hair growth! I would say if you were a girl Pre-Natal Vitamins but your not! I am pretty Sure they wouldn't hurt you because its just a multivitamin also!

Multivitamins helping hair loss?

I think you are gonna be real happy with your hair being thicker!

Multivitamins helping hair loss?

Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems. It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of a cycle of growing new hairs and loosing some. Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

I have lost alot of hair in the past 30 days. What could be wrong?

I am a woman, 45 yrs. old and I'd say it was only about a month and I brushed my hair, and went to put it in a pony tail and it feels extremely thinned out. I don't have patches, but I had thick hair and now I have thin hair, very thin.

I have lost alot of hair in the past 30 days. What could be wrong?

I had a very simaler problem and after seeing a nutritionist i learned that i was not eating enough protein. If you are concerned go to your doctor. Some blood tests can be run and you may feel better about it knowing whats causing it. There are so many different explinations for hair loss though. Good luck.

I have lost alot of hair in the past 30 days. What could be wrong?

Stress or change in hormone levels may be a contributing factor.

I have lost alot of hair in the past 30 days. What could be wrong?

Are you eating enough protein and taking a multivitamin?

Are you or have you gone through a recent hormonal change (menopause or pre-menopause)?

Have you recently gone through something stressful or tramatic (death in the family, surgery, etc)?

All of these things can cause it. Remember, hair is in a 3 month cycle so whatever you were doing roughly 3 months ago is usually what is causing it.

At your age though, my best guess would be hormonal. For women, that is the cause a lot of the time. Even going off birth control pills can do it for younger women.

I would suggest taking hair, skin, and nails vitamins and taking the herb Dong Quai if it sounds hormonal to you. Also, there is a chinese herb called Ho Shu Wu that might be effective.

How often should i wash my hair?

Hey all.

I have really thin long blonde/brown hair, well i just got it done at the hairdressers on monday and i love it :-)

I usally wash my hair everyday, but im not sure if i should.

I have really thin hair, how often should i wash it.?

I use TRESemme as its the best out there but how often should i be washing it?

Thanks all in advance :-)

How often should i wash my hair?

i have been a stylist for 15 years and i would suggest you wash your hair every other day to let the natural moisture and oils build up in your hair so it can be strong and bouncy every day washing stips your hair . a kenra product with moisturising will keep you looking great.

How often should i wash my hair?

every other day, about 3 times a week. too much washing removes ur natural hair oil making ur hair dry

How often should i wash my hair?

um.... how about once a day if your white, but if your black (judging by your pic your not) once a week. white ppl, and other ethnicites besides black have more oil in their hair, so u need to wash it everyday.

How often should i wash my hair?

well, if on the shampoo bottle it's specified "for frequent use", then there is no problem if you wash it everyday.maybe you should try washing it every two days, if that sound better.

How often should i wash my hair?

We have the same crappy hair!!! I wash it every two days and use Pantene's intense anti-breakage cream, wonderful! My hair looks good for two days in a row,Miracle!!!

How often should i wash my hair?

x.X.BarbieDoll.X.x

I'm a professional hair dresser washing your hair everyday isn't really good for your hair. No matter how much shampoo you accumalate on your scalp, it makes your hair oily and many people do think shampooing everyday is healthy but it's not. at the most every other day. Never take two showers a day thats a no no.

How often should i wash my hair?

depends really...

- if you use several different products you should wash it

everyday

- if not, i guess it really depends on how greasy it gets and if

you are sweating a lot

How often should i wash my hair?

It is better to wash everyday since all dirt, sweat and grime gets into hair and breeds lot of bacteria especially in very much polluted cities and also in tropical countries like India. But if you do not sweat much and live in a place where the climate is clean and cold probably you can wash twice a week.

How often should i wash my hair?

every other day if your white once or twice a weak if ure black

How often should i wash my hair?

I wash mine everyday and use tresemme shampoo and conditinor i would continue washing your hair everyday.

How often should i wash my hair?

I sometimes wash mine everyday but if not then its every other day.

My aunty is a proff hairdresser at toni %26amp; guy and she suggests washing your hair every other day.

That way your keeping it Clean And not washing your natural oils out that protect it :) x

What color should i dye my hair?

my natural hair color is black. But it's not jet black, it's sorta light black and i have thin hair. My hair color right now is light brown with blonde highlights and my roots have grown about 1.5 inches. I really want a color that is dark but not like black. I want something like dark brown. i dont want to dye it black b/c i look gothic and i dont look good with black hair. Any suggestions? The color of my hair now is like thishttp://www.flickr.com/photos/mcnphoto/57...

I want my hair like this color http://www.flickr.com/photos/jessicaalba... mostly the top half of her hair.... Should i dye it something like Ash Brown? or Medium brown? or Dark Brown?

What color should i dye my hair?

Be cautious about using red tones on dark brown hair. It can end up turning a lovely shade of burgundy which does not appear to be what you want. A medium golden brown will give you the basic color in the photo, but expect it to vary from the shade on the box depending on your natural highlights and color. Your previously colored locks will take color more quickly than your natural hair because it is more porous, and it will likely have a slightly different final color.

What color should i dye my hair?

Put some Auburn in it.. brunettes look good with some red in their hair in my humble opinion.

What color should i dye my hair?

None of them will make you look like Jessica Alba, fyi.

What color should i dye my hair?

Hazelnut is more for you and maybe get a highlight kit with a slightly lighter brown. That'll help you get your look.

What color should i dye my hair?

Dark brown with ash brown highlights.

What color should i dye my hair?

There are alot of dark brown dyes out there with red, burgandy and mauve tones in them. I would pick one you like, but on you I think the burgandy, brown would look nice (wine red). The highlights will just be a little brighter than the rest of your hair, but it will blend the roots and give a nice affect.

How do I make my hair thicker????

I have really thin hair and I'm still young. I keep it long which isn't the best for thin hair but thats how I like it. I just really want thicker hair. And ideas. Help me!!!

How do I make my hair thicker????

you could go curl it or use a volumizing moouse..

How do I make my hair thicker????

Use natural aero vera

How do I make my hair thicker????

There are several things that you can do to make your hair thicker. You could get extensions for a temporary short term solution. You could also use a thickening shampp and other thikening hair products such as mousse or gel. Also try being less rough on your hair, don't brush your hair so hard and use renewel conditioner treatments every 6 weeks.

How do I make my hair thicker????

Hair loss or baldness is caused mainly due to the lack of Vitamin B supplements. Vitamin B5 contains pantothenic acid and B3 (niacin that is vital for hair growth). B6 is equally important to the body, as it contains the nutrients of zinc, sulfur, magnesium and biotin.

An interesting fact about Vitamin B: Certain experiments were conducted with rats and they were fed with food that lacked magnesium supplements. It was found that they lost their hair in bunches and when they were provided with a low biotin diet they turned hairless. But to the surprise of all, their hair returned when they were fed with food rich in Vitamin B. Similar studies were conducted on men and it was found that Vitamin B enriches the quality of hair. The body also requires Vitamin A. Fatty acids such as primrose oil, flaxseed oil or salmon oil need to be consumed for enhancing hair growth.

Vitamin E is meant for stimulating the oxygen intake in the body and improves the blood circulation. If there is proper blood circulation, hair growth is enhanced. Vitamin C assists the normal functioning of capillaries that carries the blood to the scalp. Even zinc is an important supplement, which should be consumed as it assists hair growth.

Biotin is necessary for hair growth. There are many sources of biotin such as brewer's yeast, brown rice, bulgur, green peas, lentils, oats, soybeans, sunflower seeds, and walnuts. It is present in some shampoos, so you can use shampoos, which contain biotin. It is advised to consult a physician before taking any vitamins or medications for hair growth

Massage your scalp regularly with olive oil...this may enhance hair growth.

Take care.

How do I make my hair thicker????

I have thin hair also and the best thing to do really is dye it. Also a great product is Rogain. Believe it or not it really works wonders. It's something you will have to use forever but it is worth it. You will see results soon.

How do I make my hair thicker????

doubt

How do I make my hair thicker????

You can't really make your hair thicker as thickness of a hair strand is determined by your genes. You can use products that add volume and moisture to help give the appearance that you hair is thicker, but that's about it.

When people use the term, "thinning hair" it doesn't really mean that your hair strands are thinnning, it means that you are growing less of them.

There is a thin hair line thats recently appeared on my TFT screen.. How do I get rid of this ?

It might be a single resolution burned out of the screen. I hope I'm wrong. The screens are so cheap now, I doubt it's worth fixing..Good Luck.

Hair Styles and Colours?

Im asking this question for a friend....

Shes got quite pale skin andhas currently got blonde hair, she is thinking of dying it to a brunette sort of colour. What colour would look best suited with the skin colour, whats the best way for her to go about dying it (she would prefer to use a home dying kit rather than salon dying), and any nice styles to have with this colour would be very appreciated, also any links you have or anything like that. She has quite thin hair so if there are any proffesional hair people on here that could help that would be great.

Thanks x

Hair Styles and Colours?

dye it plaide, or maybe clear would work nicely.

good luck!

Hair Styles and Colours?

don't know

Hair Styles and Colours?

like a light brown or something cause if shes really white then she shouldnt go to dark

Hair Styles and Colours?

Does she have freckles? She could go strawbeery blonde or red if she had fair skin. The freckles would make it look extra cute. If she wants to go red, she's in luck because she has light hair already. Going light to dark is easier than vice versa.

If she wants to go brunette, it would depend on her eye color. If she had rich chocolate brown eyes, she could go Anne Hathaway in "The Devil Wears Prada" brown:

http://filmcritic1963.typepad.com/interv...

If she has lighter eyes, I would suggest a lighter brown with blonde highlights. Like Jennifer Aniston:

http://www.beautyriot.com/stuff/images/a...

However, I need to also stress that going to a professional will be so much better (one that has a good reputation). But if you can't afford that, she should check out drugstore.com and eopinions.com for reviews of home-dying kits.

Good luck.

Hair Styles and Colours?

First of all, we don't know what she looks like, the shape of her face and her body feature. I am just making a safe guess, if she has pale skin and blonde hair, maybe she can try hazelnut, natural color but has a sexy touch to it, it might bring out her eyes more since her skin color is quite pale. Brunette might make her look even paler than she is. I would suggest her to go for a salon other than home dying kits, simply because she can speak to her hairstylist and make a decision together. Getting advice from a hairstylist might not be a bad idea. Besides, she should get a hair treatment after coloring. It will improve the quality of colored hair. Best if you can go with her so she can get a second opinion. I know how it feels when you can't make up your mind. lol!

Hair care?

Why is everyone's hair looking good by the end of the day and my hair looking all greesy and messy? I have thin hair but alot of it. My hair is a little gressy but not that much. My hair is a little longer than my shoulders. I was thinking it might be the weather, but I don't know. It looks great in the morning to mid- day. It tends to change through out the week. Watercress Treatment For Oily Hair

http://geebal.blogspot.com/2007/11/homem...

check the links below for natural homemade beauty tips to:-- Dry hair / Oily-greasy hair/ Splitends

http://geebal.blogspot.com/2006/08/natur...

Hair care?

Some people have naturally more oily skin than others, which can make your hair look greasy. Also, if you are using a really goopy shampoo or conditioning all the way up to your scalp, this can make your hair icky as well. If you condition, try doing just the ends of your hair (from your earlobes down) and see if it makes a difference. You may just have an oiler scalp and have to wash your hair every day.

Hair care?

Minimize your daily intake of oil. Include more vegetables in your diet. Avoid fast food joints. A doctor can help but should be consulted only after you check your diet, drugs, alcohol, and your consumption of fatty foods.

Sometimes, a change in shampoo can help. Consult your stylist to get their recommendation. Do not use shine products under any circumstances. The same applies for two-in-one shampoos and conditioners and frizz serums.

Hair perming, results?

well, yes it can be done to get it wavy, you just need to take care of it alot because perms take the moisture out of your hair, and make it very dry and you need to take into account that as your hair grows out so does your perm so as your grows you will have your roots of your naturally straight hair and the rest the waves.... Deep condition your hair once a week so that when you do get that perm, your hair is in good condition and keep conditioning it afterwards to keep the hair soft and shiney.... Goodluck

Hair perming, results?

It's called a wave perm, hope that helps you. Have a wonderful day!

Help with a serious hair loss?

I have very thin hair and had problem with a hair loss since I remember. I am 27 and my hair are quite long but very sparce. On top of that I keep on loosing them all the time. I take vitamins, extra proteins, hair supplements, kelp, nothing helps! What shall I do? Is there anything that can prevent hair loss? Please advice as I am very concerned about my problem.

Help with a serious hair loss?

You could have alopecia. Have you spoken to a doctor? If you really do have it, it's a documented medical condition and you're certainly not alone. Definitely check into it with your MD.

Help with a serious hair loss?

you will need to consult with a doctor. or barring that, go to one of those hair club places. they can probably answer questions and help you get your hair back the way you want it

Help with a serious hair loss?

try coffee that works just put coffee in ur hair

Help with a serious hair loss?

I don't know what to eat, but there are things in food that are suppose to help. I was once told to rub olive oil on the hair and put a bag over it for the night and this is suppose to work after doing it for a week, but i don't know that either, it sounds liek a mess, but if it works, you could always put up with the mess. Good luck.

Help with a serious hair loss?

Accept it dude. Your going bald. Been there, done that. Believe me when I say if that's the worst thing that ever happens to you your doing better than most.

Help with a serious hair loss?

Some medications can cause hair loss. Are you taking any other medications besides the meds you've been taking for your hair?

Help with a serious hair loss?

Consult a doctor...

Also very important is keep urself tension free...

If u r tensed then thats also one of the reason for severe hair fall....

Don't leave ur hair, u should always tie them or put plat ...

Don't use harmful shampoos....

Don't take head bath with hot water, use warm water...

Don't comb hair when they are wet...

But if its hereditary then can't help... :-(

Help with a serious hair loss?

Hair loss is caused by many reasons such as malnutrition, illness, tension and other health problems. It is normal to shed some hair each day as part of a cycle of growing new hairs and loosing some. Badly damaged hair breaks at the scalp. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.

Help with a serious hair loss?

Since you still have hair, it is not as serious as you feel but none the less it needs to be looked at as it is of concern to you . Do not self medicate yourself and use soaps, shampoos, lotions, hair sprays etc., by your self. It is normal for hair to fall and regrow. If the hair are falling at a rapid pace baldness will be evident which can be patchy or global. Eat balanced healthy food. Since you have long hair comb them carefully and consult a dermatologist

Help with a serious hair loss?

Consult a homoeopath. You need constitutional treatment.

Help with a serious hair loss?

My suggestion is to drink plenty of water daily provided you dont have any scalp problem or any other genetic disorders.

Help with a serious hair loss?

consult doc..too much of vitamis and likewise stuff can spoil health...state of mental health also affects hair..keep cool...afterall,its matter of hair..just be glad that not many girls have thick hair these days...so why worry :-)

Help with a serious hair loss?

Just see whether you have dandruff. If not worry may be another cause. See a skin specialist doctor they are good at finding out the cause

Help with a serious hair loss?

A dermatologist or a skin specialist can prescribe you for your hairloss. And also please get your hormones levels checked, we women have male and female hormones in our body and if your hormones are producing too much of the male hormone, it can result to hairloss. Supplements, proteins will not help. You will have to get to the root of the problem by using internal medicine. Some dermatologists can give you cortisone shots in the area you are losing hair which is increase hairgrowth in that area. That therapy can be expensive but it is a most practical solution.

What is a good hair straightener worth the $ that will straighten VERY VERY thick hair?

starch and a heavy duty iron

What is a good hair straightener worth the $ that will straighten VERY VERY thick hair?

Paul Mitchel straightworks cream, and a round brush and blowdryer, I usually have my sister in law iron my hair, but I use a great conditioner/mask that night, my hairs not fried or anything promise. Fructis in the green jar conditioning mask works wonders! I have that awful poofy mexican hair, trust me on this one

best thing is a good blow out before you straighten with a flat iron. I really like the Babyliss hair dryers they are very powerful. I also have a Babyliss hair iron that works great it is ceramic. Both of these things are pricey but they are worth EVERY dollar i wouldnt knwo what to do without them!!!

As for products i really like the "Matrix" line that is for smoothing hair. It is packaged in orange bottles. They are also pricey but i rely on the iron smoother and the moisture lock!

What is a good hair straightener worth the $ that will straighten VERY VERY thick hair?

I've been looking for a good hair straightener as well and went searching online. Here where you can find the answer:folica.com.

What is a good hair straightener worth the $ that will straighten VERY VERY thick hair?

I know the feeling all too well. I have really thick, frizzy, wavy hair. I have tried everything at the stores from generic straighteners to smoothing creams. The best straightener I found is a T3 Tourmaline straightener. It makes my hair normal again. It's straight, smooth, shiny and soft. You can set the tempurature as high as 410 degrees. Unfortunately, my hair is so thick that I need it that high. The good thing is, it doesn't fry my hair. I guess it has something to do with the tourmaline crystals. As with any straightener, use a straightening cream on your wet hair before flat ironing and you will need to clean the iron after every use or your hair won't be as soft as it could be. The straightener requires a little maintenence, is a lot of money, but it works wonders. Talk to your hairdress. I had mine order one for me.

Hair straighteners...?

Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive hair straightener? I have thin hair. I just need something to straighten the ends of my hair that tends to curve every time I wake up... =X

Hair straighteners...?

if you just want to use the straightener for the ends of your hair, try blow drying it straight with a blow dryer and a round brush and a little bit of hair product. i like using the gainer frutis style brilliante shine cream-gel or the smoothing milk. just follow the directions on the back of the bottles.

Hair straighteners...?

The CHI!!! it works great.

Hair straighteners...?

OMG my sis has the frizziest hair u HAVE TO USE CONAIR!!!!!!!!! hope it works!!! xP

Hair straighteners...?

The CHI works best and doesnt harm your hair but its a bit of a splurge =\

Hair straighteners...?

The CHI is the best there is. I have one.

Hair straighteners...?

the same thing happens to me. i use the revlon ceramic straightner.

Hair straighteners...?

try these

http://www.target.com/gp/browse.html/602...

some are under 15.00 dollars

Hair straighteners...?

basically any will work on your hair since it is thin and you only want to do the ends i have a revlon ceramic straightner. that stinks for my hair but thats b/c its THICK long and really curly i think it would be great for you they are pretty inexpensive

added: the CHI is pretty expensive its works good but you dont need too much power b/c you only want to do a little straightening

Hair straighteners...?

I have like the same type of hair as you .....

I went to walmart and bought a 1 inch conair and it works great it was 15 bucks and conair stands behind their product(warranty)very well if something goes wrong.(nothing did just saying)

Go with it . It works !

Hair straighteners...?

im pretty sure almost any will work on your hair cause it is thin. so dont go spend a lot a money cause you dont need to.

Hair straighteners...?

use the iron my girl go it every morning it only take 3 minutes lay your hair on the ironing board put some grease on or whatever u use and go over it real quick its cheap and it respects your schudule

Hair straighteners...?

go to any department store, u can get good ones for under $30 and they will work well for ur hair

Little hairs sticking up after thinning out hair!! ahhh?

i got my hair thinned out today and ugh , it sucked . she did it with a razor and usually they do it with those scissors but now i have stupid little hairs sticking up all over ! how do i make them go down ??? its driving me crazy !!

Little hairs sticking up after thinning out hair!! ahhh?

its supposed to be that way. i think it gives hair a more natural look.

try some gel, hairspray, or sunsilk 24/7 creme (the green kind). those always work.

oh yea, and dont blow dry it. that'll only make it worse. and use a brush with bristles to help calm them down.

good luck.

10 points?

Little hairs sticking up after thinning out hair!! ahhh?

spray hairspray on a tooth brush and brush over them

Little hairs sticking up after thinning out hair!! ahhh?

Try some smoothing serum (anti frizz stuff). If they're super short, nothing you can do, but they'll probably grow out pretty quick, then make your hair appear thicker.

Little hairs sticking up after thinning out hair!! ahhh?

After you wash your hair put hair serum in it to tame it then after it dries put hair wax. It keeps those fly aways down.

I go through the same thing everyday.

Hair question for EVERYONE!!!!?

i have thin hair round the crown but everywhere else is THICK!!!!!! if i get a heaps cut off and cut it really short will my hair grow back better????

Hair question for EVERYONE!!!!?

No amount of cutting will help your hair grow thicker. Its a myth. However, a shorter hair cut may make it look fuller and help you acheive some volume to cover the crown. Good luck.

Hair question for EVERYONE!!!!?

No. The shorter hair cut may make your balding spot less noticeable though.

I have really thick hair how can i make it thinner?

ok my hair is so thick! but i want to grow it a little long and soft/thin. any suggestions? i hurd you can thin out hair but i dont know how. im a guy btw.

I have really thick hair how can i make it thinner?

The only way you can make your hair "thin" is to cut it.

It just takes a certain kind of haircut.

Try getting a cut with some long layers.

Im trying to get my hair cut all one length except for one thin short layer in the back.PICS??

does anyone know where i can find pics of this perticular style or what its called...(if you even know what im talking about) so i can show it to my hairstylist. (if this helps im pretty sure Ashley Tisdale now has a style sort of like the one im planning on getting..well she did when she starred on the show punk'd)

Im trying to get my hair cut all one length except for one thin short layer in the back.PICS??

I believe the style is called a mullet. Aptly named after a rather ugly fish.

Teasing Hair NEED help and answers PLEASE?

I wanted to tease my hair (I straighten my hair usually, and I have pretty flat and thin hair) I shower every morning before school, and blow dry it and straighten It. Anyway I wanted to tease it, so I bought Bed Head Hairspray and a teasing brush. I know how to tease hair (i looked it up on the web) but when it gets tangley it looks horrible. How do I tease my hair and afterwards make it so it doesnt look so bad?! PLEASE help!

Teasing Hair NEED help and answers PLEASE?

http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=6g7uipOSOB... i wacth this video like a million times but wacth it and what she dose to make it look smooth is she teases it from the back of the hair ...not the front like you section your hair and then go from the back adn backcomb then you use hairspray and then you use some hairspray!!! and a soft balled tipd brush like she has i have a purple one lol and you smooth it over softly and three you go

big tease poofy smmoth hair and another thing garnier now has a hairspray thats anti humdity..so i wanted to get that one cause it will help smooth down some of teh ratty ness of the nappy teased hair

X_X good luck

Teasing Hair NEED help and answers PLEASE?

You backcomb your hair underneath...then smooth the hair on top over it. It's hard to explain...just don't pack it so tightly...only backcomb a few times...never more than 5 or you're getting into tangling and damaging your hair. Use the pick end of your teasing comb to smooth the hair over what you've backcombed.

Teasing Hair NEED help and answers PLEASE?

put dtangler in it and a leetle beet of hairspray.

Teasing Hair NEED help and answers PLEASE?

The best thing is to lift up the area you want to tease then put the comb on the under side of the hair and go up about 2-3 inches from the root and to the comb down towards the root, then repeat as needed. I also suggest a light hair spray afterward. If you do this on the underside of the hair it should not look like a tangled mess. Good Luck!!!

Teasing Hair NEED help and answers PLEASE?

well there are manyways to make your hair look more volume that teasing,it is hard to explain in words but if you log on youtube there are lots of tutorials that will give you some ideas, try the link below.

i hope that can help, good luck

Teasing Hair NEED help and answers PLEASE?

I have the same kind of hair as you, basically, and I do the same stuff to it. But usually, when I tease it, I put in a root booster, %26amp; then blow dry and straighten. And then after I straighten it, I use wax %26amp; stuff, and I tease it with my fingers and then hairspray it. It works pretty good.

Teasing Hair NEED help and answers PLEASE?

this isn't bout teasing, but if you want really big hair use Garnier Fructis XXL . It works sooooooooooo well.

Do I get better hair if I shave my head repeatedly?

I have very thin hair on my skull. In some places it is bald too. Recently I shaved my hair for few times and feel that my hair is growing better than before. Now I am not sure if I should continue shaving it for some time more or let the hair grow. Certianly I want to see better hair even at the cost of keeping me shaved for some time more.

Do I get better hair if I shave my head repeatedly?

ok to tell you the truth sometimes it works and sometimes it's a big NO. i would say to stop and let it grow in and see what you think. if you think you should save after that then do it some more.

Do I get better hair if I shave my head repeatedly?

no, it will grow back pretty much the same as before....

Do I get better hair if I shave my head repeatedly?

shaving or not will not make a difference:( your hair is your hair)

Do I get better hair if I shave my head repeatedly?

No. Hair depends on your genes and your hormones.. The stubble after shaving appears coarser and therefore thicker, but it will grow just the same. Baldness is linked to the male hormone testosterone, if that is any consolation. You could go for a hair transplant or wear a toupee.

Do I get better hair if I shave my head repeatedly?

shaving does stimulate growth but im not sure if the end result we be an improvement on what you had before.

example.. your eyebrows dont really grow, but if you shave it off, it will grow back

Do I get better hair if I shave my head repeatedly?

no shaving doesnt help anything ....

it will grow naturally dnt worry

goodluck

Do I get better hair if I shave my head repeatedly?

Shave it without scratch it. The problem with a lot of Young man is that when they completely shave their hair, it expose the scalp to many type of scratch. Support you knock your head under a table,it will probably scratch a part on your head. Sometime hair doesn't grow-up again in that area.

You should look at Soccer player head.

Do I get better hair if I shave my head repeatedly?

no just bald

Do I get better hair if I shave my head repeatedly?

Shaving your head makes your hair rougher, not thicker. It's the same with weeds in the garden - when you cut them but still leave the roots they grow back stronger but doesn't make them multiply!

Do I get better hair if I shave my head repeatedly?

Well, I will share my experiance with you. I'm a baling man, and I shave. Because in my mind, if I am to be bald, then I will be totally bald. Im 40 years old, and have not accepted my male pattern baldness, yet. But, no, shaving will not cause your hair to start coming in thicker, trust me, I know.

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

so here's the deal. i'm 13 and i must say i sort of have thick hair. i got my hair jap straightened around way early this year(like jan 3, 2007). still my hair isn't that all straight. i want thin hair sort of...but i was origionally born with thick straight hair. but as i grew older it got all poofy thick. i'm filippino but i really don't have filippino straight hair. i don't know what style or haircut i should have. here are some pics of my hair:

alright so please help! what should i do?!?!?!

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

Your hair is absolutely gorgeous, do not change a thing.

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

oh definitely... your hair is perfect for layers!! i'd recommend nothing too drastic though.

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

Yes you should layer your hair or maybe extensions.

P.S.-your avatar looks just like you!!!

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

Yes you should layer your hair, it will look better.

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

i would get tons of long razored layers. i like the side bangs too.

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

Yea. Layering would look good with your hair. You will get more volume.

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

You have beautiful hair. Long layers would be perfect for you!

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

It depends on what you'd like. From the length of your hair, it looks like layering your hair might be a bit of a change, because it'd be shorter. So if you're up for a change, I'd say go for it!

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

I think your hair would look great layered!

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

if you layer your hair it would look a lot better

not saying it was bad or anything but it would make a difference

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

Layers would be good.

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

staci is correct go ahead

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

Your beautiful just the way you are. If you think that there is something wrong with your hair go and see some child that is in the hospital with cancer who is bald and wishing that they had hair. If you cut your hair donate it to make a wig for one of those children and a short layered cut with highlights would be nice on you but you're fine the way you are.

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

yes but dont put too many up top they are hellish

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

i think layers will fit your face... u should frame it.. longer in the back though.... u will look goergous.... ( as u already are ) hope i helped...

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

Oh don't worry. I have like the same exact hair as you. It's think and poofy. i have layered my hair plenty of times and it has turned out fine. so yeah go for it. and if your looking for some cute hair styles check out http://www.hairpedia.com/?gclid=CJvBrp6a...

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

you should get layers.. but dont get it thinned out.. my sister did and she regrets it. you're hair is gorgeous, so dont do anything too drastic

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

I absolutly think you should get your hair layered. But you would also have to get it thined because it would get more poofy with layers. you should also cut some length off also. hope i could help.

taylar

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

Get some long layers, which will give you shape (right now it's cute, but just kinda hangin' there), but it won't make your hair too poofy. (that's what I do! I'm hispanic w/thick, dark hair) No matter what, find a decent pic of what you'd like to achieve, (Just use Google or yahoo images for "Long layers for thick hair") and choose the stylist wisely!!! Not someone on their first day at ProCuts! :-) Good luck!

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

Layering will make your hiar twice as thick. i had layers a week ago, andi cut them off because my hair was really thick andi have very wavy and unruly hair. so now, it actually feels thinner. but for a style update, get shorter sidebangs and long layers only at the ends of your hair.

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

you should get different length layers but keep your hair the same length.

maybe get side bangs too

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

I think it's gorgeous just the way it is. :)

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

u need to use the CHI flat iron that thang will straighten ANYBODY'S HAIR!!!

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

i think layering your hair would do wonders for you.

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

i think that you should just do some simple short layering, your hair is good for it!

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

http://www.ultimatelooks.com/putonpieces...

that would be a good luck for you (keep your hair color though, bc its nice)

keep your bangs, those are ADORABLE!

btw when you get your hair layered, your hair becomes thinner and easier to manage.

*hope this helps*

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

you have beautiful hair

leave it that way!!

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

u should get ur hair cut to about shoulder length and then do some small layers, framing ur face @ the front.

Should i layer my kind of hair? (w/ pics)?

I think you have very nice hair the way it is but I am a guy what do I know
