My layered hair is so annoying!!?

I recently cut my hair and got it layered with side swept bangs, the next morning it's so hard to straighten it. The ends sweep up and I can't blow dry it or straighten it. I have thin hair so what should I do to straighten my hair in the morning? Should I trim it back to normal so I wouldn't have to have such a hassle?

My layered hair is so annoying!!?

HI

SOUNDS LIKE SHE CUT YOUR HAIR AT A FLIP- AS IN FLIPPING YOUR HAIR UP W/ HER FINGERS AND THEN CUT. IF YOU WORE YOUR HAIR IN THOSE WISP FLIPS THAT WOULD BE CUTE. My layered hair is so annoying!!?

Use mousse, it adds texture. And also it takes practice to perfect a new hair cut, it time you'll get it right.

My layered hair is so annoying!!?

Swide-swept bangs? Im sorry but give me a minute .....*shudders* they are so common now its annoying. Ok back to your question, you dont have to trim it but start using John Frieda Simply Straight or Give it to me straight shampoo and conditioner, (i think thats what its called neways) and it will start to straighten it in the shower, it really helps!

My layered hair is so annoying!!?

yes you should trim it back to normal when you get layers in your hair gets thiner thought which makes the ends of your hair curl that is probably why you cant straighten it

Hair help!!!?

i want a medium hair cut, kinda edgy, no layers cause i have thin hair, and i already have side bangs

thanx

My hair is falling too much?

i am in problem.i am using loreal elvive nutri gloss shampoo and conditioner and trichup ayurvedic hair oil recently.my hair is falling too much.already ia have thin hair.help me please.

My hair is falling too much?

stop using too much product its over loading your hair with crap. oh and dont fry your hair that is anohter problem people have!! GOOD LUCK

My hair is falling too much?

Nioxin products, contact a salon they'll help you out.

My hair is falling too much?

Take vitamins and eat healthier. More vegetables and fruits and less pop and candy.

My hair is falling too much?

The best remedy I have seen for men or for women is a product line called Nioxin Scalp Therapy. No matter who you are you can buy these products for any stage of thinning there is shampoo and conditioner, you can get it at any nice salon but my favorite is to pick it up on ebay for half of what you'd pay in the store.

My hair is falling too much?

Stress

My hair is falling too much?

Stop using all those different stuff. Also, get the More Hair Thinning Hair Treatment Root Nourishing Serum. That will get you hair thicker and it won't fall off as easily. It's sold at Rite-Aid.

My hair is an afro how can I straighten it so when I wash my hair it will still be straight and not

You can go to http://forum.blackhairmedia.com/default.... where you can get a lot of support and great tips on how to maintain afros, natural hair care etc. These sisters on this page gave me a lot of support. My hair has grown so much and it's healthy and strong. I hope that this helps.

Stick a fork in an electrical socket............... lol

What hairstyles and products are best for those with THIN hair. Other than shaving it all off!! Wont

There is a product out now called Nioxin, I use it because my started to thin due to some medicine that I take, and within about a month I could tell my hair was much thicker and healthier. You can get it from any salon or beauty supply store.

What hairstyles and products are best for those with THIN hair. Other than shaving it all off!! Wont shave it?

I never get tired of seeing a good combover.

What hairstyles and products are best for those with THIN hair. Other than shaving it all off!! Wont shave it?

Just keep it short.

What hairstyles and products are best for those with THIN hair. Other than shaving it all off!! Wont shave it?

Try any of the volume boosters. The ones that are gels work the best.Use on damp hair and blow dry.

What hairstyles and products are best for those with THIN hair. Other than shaving it all off!! Wont shave it?

Are you talking about thin hair or thinning hair?? If it's thinning, open yur mind to shaving it. Go out proud. There are no porducts that will hold your hair in any style when it gets too thin. Bald is sexy.

What hairstyles and products are best for those with THIN hair. Other than shaving it all off!! Wont shave it?

Hi there. Well, Pantene sell "Full and thick" products. Shampoos, conditioners etc. Also cut your hair fairly short, it'll make it look thicker. :) Good luck, hope it helps.

What hairstyles and products are best for those with THIN hair. Other than shaving it all off!! Wont shave it?

Go to the pharmacy and ask for hair thickiening products. The natural ones are better. There is the hair wash and also the hair cream. Make sure your iron and thyroid levels are normal. Take some vitamins.

Hair problem?

is it normal to have thin hair or is there a way to make it thicker

Hair problem?

i think the "catch 22" for men is that the same testosterone that gives them broad shoulders and sexy, masculine features also causes hair thinning or loss. so, i say accept yourself the way you are because the sexiest thing on a man is his confidence %26amp; I've found a lot of men w/ not so much hair to be hot!

Hair problem?

they make shampoo that thickens hair i can't remember the name but it works

Hair problem?

thin hair is very normal..but you can get thickening shampoos. they won't help a lot but they will help a bit

Hair problem?

well its ok to have thin hair just not too thin and to make your hair thicker go to a salon and ask.

Hair problem?

implants if youare balding........If you've just had thin hair all your life and it looks even all over your head, don't worry about it.........Take care.............

Hair problem?

have a head massage and make your hair thick:

Head Massage

http://www.askaquery.com/Answers/qn1681....

Hair problem?

yes its normal, try syrup to make thivker (and stickier)

Hair problem?

first check up your health, don't think so much ,its not a problem nowadays everywhere I see the bare headed person, now it is a style also.

Hair problem?

My sister is 10 years old and she started thinning, because she has anger and stress problems. She went to the doctor and now she stopped stressing, she uses Selsum Blue shampoo, and my she uses Aloe Vera conditioner. Now her hair is back. Stress may be the factor to why your thinning. If your in your mid 30's get a hair transpant.

Hair problem?

there are people with thin hair, people with normal, and people with thick hair. you can't really change it unless you have thick hair, then you can cut some off.

it's all genetic, so you're basically stuck with what you got unless you wear a wig or buy hair extentions.

Hair problem?

full n thick hair gel, works on my hair

Hair problem?

I've had thin hair all my life bro. It's not going to get any thicker.

Here's some tips. Super hold hair spray and moose.

Hair problem?

there is nothing roung with thin hair.

i have thin hair very verythin hair too,

dont wory and if u want to make it thicker get x stentchions my sister did it because she hated it so if u hate it that much then ya get x stention it helped her but i think she looks dumb lol /shes now funny looking or use gel my bro dose

Hair problem?

i think there is...consult to a hair expert...

Hair problem?

thin hair is good easy so clean easy to manage but if you want a thick hair go to the salon

Hair problem?

It's definitely normal to lose hair especially when you're a male, but most shampoos that offer more strength or thickness rarely work. The best product to use is Rogaine, but you have to use it on a consistent basis for it to work. My bf shaved his head a little more than a year ago and says it was the best thing he could have done. Not only does he not have to worry about going to the hairdresser every two weeks, but he bought a Norelco shaver to buzz his head every three days which has saved him a TON of money.

Hair problem?

Some people just have naturally thin hair. Get your doctor to prescibe propecia and it may help.

Hair problem?

yes its normal, you can use redken densify shampoo or any volumzing hair products

Hair Thickening Product?

I have really thin hair... What products are good to thicken hair? (specifics please, and where to buy) I would really like a great volumizing product.

Hair Thickening Product?

That stuff Cameron Diaz used on her hair in Something About Mary.

Hair Thickening Product?

just go to a drugstore and go into the hair care aisle and just look for things that say "volumizing"

Hair Thickening Product?

my hair isn't extremely thin but its thin. if i want volume on my hair i tease it. i have to do this throughout the day because it flattens quick. i dont think its possible to thicken ur hair because you already have hair follicles which is the only place hair will grow out from.

my hair is very long so it is heavy so putting on products doesn't help, if u want volumizing product you should consider this. my sister uses moose, it doesn't make ur hair look like u have on product and it is cheap.

Hair issue?!?

I have curly, thin hair. When it's wet it's long and down, when it dries it gets puffy and shorter. Do you know of any hair products I could use so when it dries it stays down and long?

Hair issue?!?

A heavy mousse/gel/styling lotion would manage some of the frizziness and weigh the hair down to produce length with more of a wave. Try "Taft". They're styling products are cheap and effective.

Hair issue?!?

A blow dryer, some heat protectant, and a flat iron. it get shorter because it is puffing up and curling, the water is holding it down. You can put some thick gel in it, but then it will have that always wet gelled up cholo look.

Hair issue?!?

for the wet look, you're going to need a combination of mousse and gel.

Hair issue?!?

Well, a straightner helps loads, but there are some mousses and gels for "the wet look"

Hair issue?!?

if henna the herbal medicine is available in your area you can use it before hair wash, hair will be come very nice,

Hair issue?!?

you could try straighteners

Is it possible to have hair thinned with laser hair removal?

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone knows if it is suggested/doable to have hair thinned via laser hair removal.

I have quite hairy legs, like Robin Williams hairy, I think it looks unkempt and it really hides my well defined leg muscles. I would really like a reduction of about 50% - 65% of the hair on my legs.

Is this possible and does it work well? Also if this is possible does anyone know how much it would cost?

Any advise on the subject would be appreciated!

Is it possible to have hair thinned with laser hair removal?

Yes laser will thin the hairs and make them lighter, I have it done so I know. But it can also result in patchy hair so you have to be careful in that regard. If I were you I would see about getting maybe only 2 or 3 sessions.

Is it possible to have hair thinned with laser hair removal?

no

thining is not possible

Is it possible to have hair thinned with laser hair removal?

I know if you use Nair or Veet hair removing products when the hair grows back its usually thinner...which is a lot cheaper than professional treatments

How do i stop oily hair?

when i wake up i wash my hair i have short thin hair and every time i go to school my hair goes all sticky but on the weekends its fine help!

How do i stop oily hair?

Gel helps maintain the looks

also, oily hair shampo help a bit

How do i stop oily hair?

Alright I have a few ideas.

1.Dont wash your hair for a few days (sounds gross, but it helps get your hair use to it and wont get oliy so fast.)

2.Use a dandruff shampoo. It will suck out oil.

3. When you use conditioner only put it at the ends of your hair and not on top.

Hair problem.Please help.?

maybe get bangs and have a pony tail idk

Hair problem.Please help.?

i dont know about natural but there is this amazing shampoo that is sold in salons (even cheaper at the salon that is in walmarts) that is called nioxin. it really works i know first hand. it is about 20dlls a bottle but they are big and last a while cancer patients use it to grow their hair back it works

Hair problem.Please help.?

yes. you can crack and egg on top of your hair, and then leave it in for about 5 mins and before you crak the egg, you might wanna dampen your hiare. well after the egg crackin after 5 mins, wash it out, and shampoo. then condition. tip: if you want really volumized hair, then you should first start putting the conditioner on at the mid section of your hair. the slowly make the condition to the roots. do not put conditioner directly to roots as it will make hair flatter.

Explaining "scene hair" to hairstylist...?

i guess i want what youd call 'scene hair' but whatever. i do my own thing. last time i got it cut i brought pictures and the lady couldnt work with it. it irritated me, so i basically went home and cut a lot of it off again myself. but now its needs a cut again and im tired of doing it myself. my hair is thing and fine and i straighen it becuase i hate it curly (dont complain, i use a LOT of deep condtioning) its cut with heavy bangs and coppy layers.

i want more layers (shorter) and my bangs are fine they just need to be trimmed and re angled ( i screwed up when i did it last week and kinda fixed it :P) cept its hard to get what i want hairwise because of fine/thin hair etc. and they just dont get it....

so helpe meee.

and keep your negative craaap. im not a poser. im me and people already call me emo [%26gt;.%26lt;] sooooo. no labels please :K* ill eat you. ;P''''

THHHANNNKKKZ

Explaining "scene hair" to hairstylist...?

You really need to find a stylist that knows what she is doing it sounds like to me. I am in school for cosmetology and my hair cutting instructor can cut anybody's hair from any picture (as long as it is a decent picture) that you give her, if you have to get 2 or 3 pictures and explain what you want from each picture. I also suggest that you find someone who has been in the business for a while if you have to call around to see talk to your friends and family to find out who is their stylist and if they are good or not.

Explaining "scene hair" to hairstylist...?

Yeah, that happened to me too. I tried explaining it without a picture. They cut it all right but not exactly how I wanted it. I still paid them, but I went home and cut it how I wanted and I like my hair now.

:]

Explaining "scene hair" to hairstylist...?

look in magazines and cut out more pictures... cut out more then one so she has a better idea for what you want. and jsut tell her how u want it!! she wont get it if u dont explain it to her

Explaining "scene hair" to hairstylist...?

you should go to a professional salon.

%26amp; ask them if they have a stylist that specializes in those types of hair styles.

i`m thinking about getting my hair like that too.

Explaining "scene hair" to hairstylist...?

find a hairdresser that is recommended as good from a friend or sensible place. Take the pictures and tell them exactly what you want. They have the stuff to put on it to make it look thicker, like gels, etc, and more updated stuff.

If you are not satisfied tell them you are not and tell them to redo it!!! They want you to be satisfied so you will come back and not spread rumors about them. I am friends with a beautician and I know how this works. They can do it!!!

see if u can find some pix here...

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

I always had thin hair at the crown of my head, but in the past 2 years it's gotten a lot thinner and my scalp is showing more then before. Also, I have crazy periods where i don't have periods for about 3 months and i KNOW i'm not pregnant. I've had my period for about three years and i am 15yrs. right now. I've also had dizy spells from low blood sugar. Could all of these be a factor to my hair loss? Is it my Horomones? Or everything combined?

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

It probably does have something to do with your hormones especially if your not eating enough. Not eating enough of food and not getting the proper vitamins and minerals daily can cause these symptoms. Proper nutrition helps regulate natural body functions.

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

Good news is that your hairloss is not permanent but you need to go to the doctor ASAP and get some blood work done.

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

those all seem to be symptoms of someone who is undergoing a lot of stress...if you have had or are having stressful or tramatic events in your life, this could be why.

your feelings can effect your body physically, so if you are over stressed, this could be the cause of your problems physically.

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

doctor mayb its gentics

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

It could be all of them combined. It sounds like stress. Do you take vitamins? When I was around 17 I started losing my hair. It used to be so thick and it got really thin and fine. I needed to take vitamins (I wasn't eating well). You should go to the doctor and have some blood work done.

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

Go see your dr. and ask about your thyroid. All those symptoms could be a thyroid problem and there is a simple blood test. It is a more common problem in middle aged women but I know several teenage girls with thyroid problems.

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

Have you ever had your thyroid checked? Maybe you should go to the Dr for a health checkup, you are too young to be having hair loss at the age of 15.

Teen hair-loss! HELP!?

I am between the ages of 12-15, and i have inbetween thick and thin hair...it is very fine and silky....and pretty long!

whats the problem?? what can i do to fix it?

i use carthame [french] dandruff-ish shampoo and a regular condition like ojon or pantene or w/e... i wash it every other day....

help!?!

thanks%26lt;333

Teen hair loss?

Hair loss can be a sign of many diseases. I'm not saying that it definitely is in your case, but it can indicate a serious medical condition. I suggest that you go to a doctor; it's not the hair loss that is the problem, it's the underlying cause.

Some causes of hair loss in females are anemia, eating disorders (or malnutrition), drugs/medication, thyroid disease, connective tissue disease, gynelogical problems, or even stress.

Teen hair loss?

that sucks i had a friend that lost a lot of hair in 6th ot 7th grade but he had cancer

Teen hair loss?

nioxin works good.

but its a bit pricey.

Teen hair loss?

your lose waaaaaaaaaaay more than 90 hairs a day. it may seem like your losing a lot of hair, but you arent. when you get a bald spot THEN you can worry. =)

Teen hair loss?

well a] if you color your hair that's totally normal and b] unless you notice your hair becoming noticably thinner i really wouldn't worry about it, my hair is the same way

Teen hair loss?

pantene pro-v is the worst possible condititioner you can use on your hair %26amp; washing it everyday its bad it dries it out

making it tangled making you comb it losing more hair be sure to untangle your hair once a day and then brush it with a soft brush throughout the day the best shampoo and conditioner is Frizz ease you cant get it at like a publix or pharmacy store make sure you get the one for your hair type and they also have leave in conditioners etc.

[[ i have really curly hair and i especially am not suppose to wash it everyday but i do because i have to go to school so if you do want to wash it every day make sure you dont use things that will really dry out you hair]]

Teen hair loss?

With your type of hair t is best to Wash your hair once a week and condition it everyday that should help

How can I moisture my hair for a few bucks ?

I am black and have real fine thin hair. I live in dry heated conditions. I curl my hair before I go out and before my day is halfway done. My curls have fallen and my hair starts to frizz. I have tried hot oil treatments, conditioner even grease that say they tame frizz. How can I keep moisture in my hair?

How can I moisture my hair for a few bucks ?

it is not due to your hair lacking moisture. in fact it is your hair type. Please dont take offence to this, but your type of hair can be one of the toughest types to style, deal with etc..

What you need to get is a good de-frizz product, and some good styling products. dont buy cheap because they never work good, i know you only want to spend a few bucks, but you get what you pay for.

When you first style your hair, if it is wet use mousse or another type of product that is for wet hair, style/dry it, then use another holding product and hairspray, this will help keep it styled for a bit longer, i cant gaurentee that it will hold all day, but it'll be getting close to it.

If your hair is really dry, and kinda feels rough or like sandpaper when you run your fingers down it, try a deep conditioning treatment. you can get them done at any salon or go to a salon and see if they have samples of it that you can use..then it would be FREE :)

also another option is to actually perm your hair, but i would recommend going to a salon for this as they wil have the best one for your hair type.

Hope this helps ....i am a hairdresser so i do know what im talking about :)

How can I moisture my hair for a few bucks ?

Rub coconut oil in your hair at least twice a week. Put in on and then leave it for an hour and then rinse it off. Vinger also makes your hair glossier and stronger aswell as beer believe it or not. With the vinger and the beer wash your hair with deep treatment shampoo and then before your final rinse of cold water(this makes your folicles close and keeps hair healthy) then wash with either one.

How can I moisture my hair for a few bucks ?

You can try this hair lotion that I recently saw at Target. I can't remember the brand but it's basically Olive oil lotion for the hair. Olive oil is very fine and absorbs easily into hair and skin. It's been known world-wide of it's moisturizing property.

Also, don't rub towel against your hair, dab it. Rubbing can cause friction and damage. Second, if you use blow dryer, use one that has ionic functions that helps restore moisture back to your hair. I have one from Panasonic and it works very well. Third, don't use extremely hot water to wash your hair. Very hot water will strip moisture and oil from hair and skin. Fourth, you can try using 100% boar bristle brushes. It can bring oil from the scalp to the ends of your hair. OR you can try this remedy my cousin gave me. She swears it works:

* Whip together 1/2 cup low-fat mayonnaise, 1 egg yolk, 1 tablespoon soft margarine, and 2 teaspoons wheat germ oil. * Apply to hair and scalp, completely covering each strand with a thick layer of conditioner. * Soak a terry-lined shower cap in hot water, wring out, and pull over head. * Allow this conditioning cap to remain on the head for thirty to forty-five minutes. * Remove the cap. You'll be surprized how much conditioner your thirsty, dry hair has absorbed. * Wash out the residual conditioner and allow hair to air dry or use a dryer set on cool.

How can I moisture my hair for a few bucks ?

do it yourself. i live in a tropical climate, and i get the problem of dry hair often. first off, keep away from the curling iron! it will definitely dry your hair. i kept away from it and it did wonders. if you have to curl it, only once a week, especially now.

i try to use hot coconut oil on my hair (the virgin coconut oil) and i scrub it on my scalp once a month. the treatments at salons will go on forever, girl. and your hair will look bad once you get off the treatments. also, the coconut oil will make your hair shiny.

put aloe vera in some hot water, let the water cool, and use it before you shampoo. i do this once a week.

when washing your hair, don't use hot water. your hair will break out into split ends.

and use the conditioner that works best for you. best if you use the one with a label "for dry hair". the best shmapoo for you should have sun protection, so your hair won't frizz. i use palmolive with sun protection on those hot summer days.

and the one hundred brush strokes? it works. brush your hair (from scalp to tip) many times in the morning and before you sleep at night, following the natural waves of your hair. brushing from the scalp will help release the natural oils and proteins to your hair.

hope i helped you, girl! :)

I need a hair style that will cover my forehead???

Should I cut my hair during the summer?

It's not like very very long right now but over should length...like to my chest right now. Over the summer i'm going to be going to asia and it's really hot there. Should i cut my hair so that it's up to my shoulders? I don't think i look that great with short hair but i haven't had like up to shoulder length hair since like....3rd grade...LOL i only want to leave it short for the summer though..would it grow back to normal before september starts? My hair doesn't grow that fast, but then again i don't cut it a lot so maybe that's why? My hair is like really really reallyyyy thin too =( would short hair be better for thin hair?

Should I cut my hair during the summer?

Shoulder length isn't that short so you wouldn't be losing too mch... I just recently had hair to about your length and got it cut the shoulder length.... Mine is also very thin and has been for ever... I've always liked it better when it is short because you can style it so that it doesn't appear that thin. For instance try flipping your hair in a little... It will frame you face and add some volume to your hair. As for if it will grow back... the average humans hair grows about 4 inches a year... so it probably wont be back this summer.. but if you cut it in around late spring you should have some of it back. Hope i helped!

Should I cut my hair during the summer?

I personally think that thin hair should be short, but if you like it long, keep it long!... get extenstions thinken it out!, just tie it up when you are there, or get it braided, then you just don't have to worry! x

Should I cut my hair during the summer?

Well... I think if u have strait hair to get it up to ur ears like a bobby but if u have curly hair go sholder lanth. and also don't get it cut untill July.

Should I cut my hair during the summer?

You don't have to cut to your shoulder. You could just cut it a little bit so you don't have to care that much.

Should I cut my hair during the summer?

well if you want it short for summer, why not? get it layered and sometimes shoulder length looks a bit odd, like its not short but its not long. so maybe a bit shorter than shoulder length? i dont think your hair will grow back to normal by september but give it a try!

Should I cut my hair during the summer?

What do you think about braiding it? It is so cool for traveling becuase it saves you a lot of time. Plus, you can put different colors in it, so you change your apperience w/o any radical or permanent changes. Plus, it is a new spring trend. Take a look at the pics here, I am loving it!http://www.uamodels.net/archives/spring-...

Shampoo/cond. for combo, fine/thin hair...?

I am looking for a quality shampoo and conditoner for oily roots, dry ends, fine/thin hair. I want to normalize my hair while still trying to thicken/strengthen it?Maybe even make it longer somewhat? Is there such a product?

Shampoo/cond. for combo, fine/thin hair...?

For oily roots- Use a lot of shampoo on the top of your head and not so much condtioner, or none at all at the top.

Dry ends- Use a lot of condtioner on the bottom of your hair, and let it soak in the shower.

Fine/thin hair- Use a volumizing shampoo/condtioner [Herbal Essences has a good one, or Paul Mitchell, Biolage, RedKen, or one of those.]

To thicken/strengthen it- Use Paul Mitchell strenghth shampoo/conditioner and then for a serum use RedKen Anti-Snap. Expensive but good.

Good luck! :]]

Happy Hoildays!é–³?br>Shampoo/cond. for combo, fine/thin hair...?

I have really thin blond hair. I love to use Matrix Amplify products. They have a whole line of shampoo, conditioner, hairsprays, root pumps that work really great. Check out salons in your area, or try the knockoffs at a beauty supply store.

Shampoo/cond. for combo, fine/thin hair...?

in a perfect world all those things would be bottled up in to one product but the dove collection have many wonderful quality shampoo and conditioner that will help you with your hair.

Shampoo/cond. for combo, fine/thin hair...?

Do not buy cheap stuff from walmart, pantene is made up of mostly wax and creates a build up around your scalp, as do most cheap shampoos and conditioners. Find yourself a good moisturizing shampoo, chances are that your scalp has build up from less than perfect shampoo TIGI makes a oatmeal honey shampoo that is great and on the less expensive side. As far as products for styling, I would try a light weight gel, the size of a dime before drying it with a blow dryer and a round brush, this will smooth the hair and give it some volume. As for thickening, Nioxin makes a thickening shampoo that promotes growth of new hair and helps to strengthen old hair, expensive but worth it. You can also take pre-natal vitamins for healthier, stronger hair and nails and it will also grow faster...don't worry you can take pre-natal vitamins even if your not pregnant. Good Luck hun!

Hair Help Please!!!!!!?

I'm so frustrated with my hair. No hairstyles look good with it. I have medium length blonde, thin hair. My last haircut I got layers put in. Now the top of my hair is flat and where the layers are it poofs out at the ends. My hair is kind of wavy so I son't want angles because they'll curl at the end so I don't want to have to straighten it. I want a low maintenance haircut, but not too short. Any ideas? Pictures would help.

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

I am a teenager, and I have come to have really thin hair; from what used to be extremely thick. You can see light patches at the top of my head, ew. I am assuming stress is the cause (ever since finding a job). How can I save my hair?...without having to quit?

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

Hi hun sorry to hear that. You should know that losing anywhere form 100-300 hairs a day is normal. You expect more if you have stress, taking medication or it good be genetic. I would try Nioxin it works wonders I recommend it to clients. If you are serious and willing to help yourself here you go. www.nioxin.com or 1-800-628-9890

Hope this helps -L

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

Losing you hair is mostly genetic. There is nothing you can do about it.

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

rogaine may be able to help, but hair loss for males is caused by testosterone, and unless you wish to lose that you will lose your hair, kinda a trade off. I would talk to a doctor and ask if he could prescribe anything.

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

apply olive oil to your scalp or you can try rogain. if the problem persists as you get older i think your best option would be hair implants.. or you can just shave everything off now i think that looks good on some guys

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

There can be more than one reason for hair loss.

You have hit on one.. Stress.... Genetics..... poor nutrition.... believe it or not wearing a hat for long periods of time... using bar soap rather than shampoo.....

The best thing %26lt;IMO%26gt; to do would be to stimulate the blood flow to the scalp.. hence increasing the blood flow to the hair.... this can be done by brushing %26lt;ever hear 100 strokes with a brush a day to make hair grow longer%26gt; it works because it increases blood flow to the scalp... also think about going to a salon.. and having them do some scalp treatements.. if by chance you can find one that does low volt electric massage's even better.. this will bring even more blood flow to the scalp.

If it is nutritionally based.. step up on your diet.. your not getting enough protien... how are your nail's growing.. slower.. faster than usual???

genetic's.. well we are really stuck with those... so you would have to go the rogane.... talk to a doc route....

don't wear a hat anymore than you have to...

Good luck..

Hair loss at a reasonably young age?

i'm sorry sweetie but there's not much you can do about it.....except wear a hat more often if you feel really self conscious

Good Luck ;-)

Black hair dye question?

in August i dyed my hair black with a semi-permanent dye and it was suppose to come out in 6 weeks and it's February and it still hasn't come out. what's wrong, will it ever come out? and whats a way to get rid of it that won't kill my hair because i have really thin hair and i don't want to lose more.

Black hair dye question?

Black hair dye is a commitment, whether you use permanent or semi-permanent dye. The hair dye companies do a terrible job of telling people just how permanent it is. When I have decided to get rid of my black hair, I have always let it grow out and cut it off. You can bleach it out and then color your hair back to your natural color. This is best left to a professional, especially since you say your hair is thin.

Black hair dye question?

Its about how many times you WASH it lol.

Of course it wont come out if you dont wash your hair with shampoo silly!

Black hair dye question?

There is hair bleach and there is different volumes of it get the lowest volume. It should come out but ur hair will be orange u have to get another color dye.

Black hair dye question?

Black is a tough color. Thin hair (I have thin/fine hair) tends to soak up dye way more that thick or coarse hair. You may have to go see a stylist for help. I had to bleach mine out to get rid of the black and now I use a really good conditioning balm to keep my hair moisturized and a protein repair to keep my hair stronger.

Best of luck

Black hair dye question?

Well since you dyed it black it takes alot longer to come out. Your hair will be fine...you can use a toner, or take a lighter hair dye and put it over to lighten it...i did that before it worked great! Good luck :)))

Black hair dye question?

the dye will eventually fade but keep washing it. the more you wash it the more it fades. however, there may be unwanted colors that will show up like green and blue.these colors were added to the dye to intensify the darkness.

Black hair dye question?

try a malibu ,you can get this done at any salon its not vety expensive and it will take out any empurities in you hair and any extra color laying on you hair shaft the only other way to get this out is to do a bleaching shampoo which is vey difficult and extremely hard on your hair as a last resort if it does not come out get some subtle highlights to lighten it up better look and less damaging

Black hair dye question?

i learned in school that if you shampoo your hair twice a day using Dawn Dishsoap then condition normally then that will help fade color. also use hot water, not warm. that also helps color fade. good luck

Black hair dye question?

use color fix..it smells bad, but it works.

http://www.folica.com/one__n_only_Col_d3...

Black hair dye question?

there is a product that is sold in Sally Beauty that helps to remove color from semi permanent dye, it is quite safe

http://www.sallybeauty.com/hair-color-re...

they are quite easy to use too, and they might take you back to your base color...

Cutting your hair short is a big step. It takes only minutes to cut your hair short, but it will take months to grow it long again if you don't like it.

Before changing your look it is best to try different styles on a photo of yourself with hairstyles software.

Can i take cod liver oil capsules to improve my hair strength?

if you are a girl... take prenatal vitamins.... seriously... it will help a lot!!!!!!!!

Can i take cod liver oil capsules to improve my hair strength?

Hi. To answer your question, I haven't heard any thing about fish oil having benefits to promote hair growth. But it is good for you if you have NF2, because fish oil contain the main ingredient Omega-3 fatty acid. Omega-3 has shown benefits for strengthening the nervous system and heart. There was a famous study done on school children in the Philippines who took Omega-3 and those who did not. The ones who did had higher IQ scores, suggesting their brains developed more. As for hair growth, Vitiman B would be better. Try taking whey protein shakes. They are a rich source of various types of vitamin B. Also Nuegenia shampoo with T-gel can promote growth. -- Dan

1 weird abnormal hair I found growing on my head?

I'm a dirty blonde with sort of thin hair. I was just looking for splits ends in my hair last week and found a really thick hair. I thought it was sick so I pulled it out. I couldn't believe this thing grew from my head! it was wavish and really dark and really thick like it was more like a dog hair. Does anyone know what this could be???

1 weird abnormal hair I found growing on my head?

It was just a weird hair that grew on your head.

Hormones. I always had very fine hair and a few years ago wirey, dark hairs started growing out of my head. They do look like animal hair. There's nothing wrong with you. Your hormones just change as you get older.

You can still gel/spike it then, but it's a whole new look.

GNC Ultra nourish-hair vitamins?

have experienced pretty bad breakage from hair extensions. I have used other formulas such as Hairtopia, Futurebiotics hair,skin%26amp; nails supplement as well as their women's omega multivitamin. I am about to try ultranourshair..has anyone who has used this noticed a difference? (particularly someone with thin hair) Did it make your hair seem fuller, thicker or more plentiful? Also, how long did it take for you to notice a difference?

GNC Ultra nourish-hair vitamins?

I've been searching this product, on forums everywhere. Some women say they get like half an inch per month using it (which is the average of how much your hair grows every month) and some say they get ONE inch per month using. So I think it depends on the person or their daily diet while they're taking the pills. like are they getting enough waiter, veggies, fruits, etc. I haven't tried yet but I'm going to search more.

Arghhh Flat Hair!?

Anybody know how to put extra volume into flat thin hair?I'm sick of flat hair,y is it in salons they can do it but we can't?I'm talkin volume that makes it seem like u have full thick hair...%26amp; dark hair always seemes fuller right?

Arghhh Flat Hair!?

What you can do is add use some amla powder on your hair. This will add volume, and texture to your hair. It is natural and can do wonders !! Use natural hair products to revitalize your hair. You will be so happy !!

Hope this helps.

Arghhh Flat Hair!?

get thickening mouse. mouses work wonders

Arghhh Flat Hair!?

have u tried a volumeizing shampoo? also try bendingdown and flipping ur hair upsidedown and blowdrying it. it'll make it fluffy

Arghhh Flat Hair!?

obviously use volumising shampoo and conditioner. dont wear your hair too long. when you blow dry it, put in voulmising mousse and put your head upside down, then dry your roots using your fingers as a comb. it your hairs short do the whole thing upside down, if its long dry the ends normally. wear a side parting. the real secret of flat hair is dont brush the top bit! it sounds weird but if you comb it itll go flat, just comb the ends.

dont dye your hair just to make it look fuller, it wont make much difference and itll probably highlight the problem.

Arghhh Flat Hair!?

get henna...colour your hair it will not make it look flat but your hair will be red a bit...or you can hold your hair tight and comb it really hard then it won't look flat anymore

Arghhh Flat Hair!?

I've tried all kinds of products but nothing gave me more volume without teasing my hair.. soooo I got extensions! They made my hair appear much thicker! It's worth the money, trust me.

Arghhh Flat Hair!?

Try using a lot of moose mixed with hair gel then use a lot of hair sprat to hod it up.You can also try a new shampoo called Suntist.

How long does straightened hair go w/o needing to be washed? Does straight hair resist oil more?

I have curly, frizzy, thin hair. If I skip a day, just one day, of washing my hair, it gets oily. I've heard that u can straighten your hair and go a few days w/o washing it. Does straight hair resist oil more or something? Or is that just some ppl?

How long does straightened hair go w/o needing to be washed? Does straight hair resist oil more?

I don't think it has anything to do with straight or curly styles. It's all about you and your scalps oil production. For me it's about every other day and then it get's pretty nasty.

How long does straightened hair go w/o needing to be washed? Does straight hair resist oil more?

it jsut depends who you are and how much oil you produce and all that

Ahhh... flat hair?

My hair has no volume! I have thin hair. I blow dry it, put volumizing product in it. I even did the teasing trick a bit like sylist taught me to add volume. It looks perfect when I walk out the door, but it less than 30 min. it goes flat (like the avatar pic =/) Any solutions?

Ahhh... flat hair?

wash ur hair with volumizing shampoo. then put big curlers in ur hair

Ahhh... flat hair?

use white rain's extra body shampoo %26amp; conditioner

Ahhh... flat hair?

i have faltish hair too and it sucks

it is hard to deal with but u can make it a little better

what you are doing is great

also try and use volumizing shampoo an conditioner

i sugest sunsilk anti-flat

once it is brushed and whatnot... then flip it

bend over and flip your hair up.... do this many times, because it actually does help.

also shower before u leave the house

but sadly flat hair is a bummer. it is just sometime that ppl ahve and others dont.

but u should also love what u were giving and dont distroy it

WE ALL HAVE BEAUTIFUL HAIR

Why is parts of my hair thinner than the other parts?

dont get me wrong my hair isnt thinning,im only sixteen, its just my front sides of my head are unusually thinner than the rest of my hair and it gives me a funny looking hair style

Why is parts of my hair thinner than the other parts?

I used to have the opposite problem - the front and sides were too thick and the back was thinner. This was actually caused by my hair cut. I suggest you find a good hairdresser and explain the problem to them. They should be able to cut your hair in more consistent style.

it all depends on the cut, most people i know have thick hair, but most of theirs is really long, if youre getting layers, its going to be thined out alot, and most scene hair is all jsut layers with a cool way of styling it so yeah

hope i helped!

Static hair?

I have thin hair, just below the shoulder. I very rarely curl or style my hair because I have to put tons of product in my hair to keep it curled and even then it doesn't last long.

I constantly have staticy hair. I mostly wear it up for this reason. I've heard that hard water can be a problem but I don't have that issue.

I've tried Paul Mitchell, Anti-frizz and many others.

Is there something out there that you would recommend and that wouldn't leave my hair greasy?

Static hair?

If you run cloth over your hair it eases the static.

Keep experimenting with anti-frizz stuff, different ones work for different people. You can also try anti-frizz shampoos/conditioners.

Remember though, always read what the bottle says - if you're putting too much on chances are thats why its making it greasy.

Static hair?

rub a "dryer sheet" on your hair. It reduces the static and makes it smell good too!

How to grow hair?

I have been told that the Mane and Tail (horse shampoo) actually works very well.

Have you thought of vitamins also?

How to grow hair?

there are a lot of places offering services in this sorta problematic area. some will suggest acupuncture, different oils and treatments, etc.

there are a lot reasons for having thinning hair and by the sounds of it, it's probably genetic in your case.

i would suggest that you start with places who sells wigs because sometimes they cater to people from different backgrounds of thinning hair and hair loss. they'll be able to analyze your case before suggestion a treatment plans.

you shouldn't mess with products right now not knowing what your main source of problem is. you could end up with less hair than you started with.

How to grow hair?

my hubby has always had a problem with thin and somewhat sparse hair. even as a baby. and same thing everyone else in his family, parents %26amp; 2 brothers have thicker hair than him. you both just got a few recessive genes.

i've read that Biotin is good for the hair. there are some places that have it as a shampoo and also as a dietary supplement. I've purchased both. personally i've noticed a slight difference in his hair, but he's only using the shampoo sparingly. I have been taking the supplement and have noticed less breakage and less hair falling out when i shower.

i found my Biotin on eBay but many vitamin stores online carry it. it's a bit harder to find in stores. but no matter what make sure you get a good multivitamin in you every day.

How to grow hair?

How to Make Hair Grow Thicker and Faster

Want longer and thicker hair? Use these step to get it!

1. Get calcium in your body. Drink milk or take calcium pills. To grow longer, your hair needs to be healthy. The calcium will strengthen it.

2. Go out in the sun, which provides your body with Vitamin D. When you go out, your body will get Vitamin D, and will use it on your nails and hair, making them longer and thicker.

3. Do not style your hair everyday with harmful products and styling tools! This will only make your hair split, which will make it thinner and damaged. Then you will have to cut it again! Do not use hairspray! Hairspray basically burns your hair. If you do use gel, make sure it says something like heat protection, or moisturizer on the bottle. That way it is semi protecting your hair. You can get these products anywhere, and at low cost! Go to Big Lots, Rite Aid, Target, and many other stores.

4. Rehydrate your hair. Most likely, its not growing because of heat damage. Go to places like Target, the Dollar store, or even Rite Aid and purchase hair lotion. At Target, they have these pink bottles for two dollars. You can put it in your hair in the morning and leave it on all day. It will strengthen your hair and make it thicker and longer. Another great product you can get is at Rite Aid, called Frizz - Ease critical care. You put it on in the shower, let it sit, and then rinse it off.

5. Wash your hair with de - frizzing shampoos and conditioners. One product, for example, would be Garnier. By de -frizzing your hair it will get healthier, thus grow more!

6. Eat healthy. What you eat is what you are, so if you eat all fast food, let's just say your hair might not be pretty. From all the unnecessary fats, hair can become thinner and more prone to damage.

7. Trim your hair often. When I say trim I do not mean cut off an inch! I mean once a week or once a month take off an itsy bitsy bit of hair. Everyone has different types of hair so depending on your texture cut it at shorter or longer intervals.

8. Exercise. The healthier you are, the faster and thicker your hair will grow. If you swim, always wash your hair out afterwards, because chlorine dries your hair out so fast!

9. Lose the soda. Water and milk will make your hair happier, soda won't.

10. Go a few days without washing it. I know some of you have greasy hair so your thinking, no way! Well just leave it unwashed when your on vacation, camping, over the weekend, or leave it in a pony tail.

Tips

* Looks don't matter. Don't rush the growth of anything - you risk side effects.

* If your hair absolutely won't grow or get thicker, maybe you should accept it. Find a hair style that fits the thin or short look. Look at celebrities that have short or thin hair that you like and make you hair like their's.

* Use accessories to spice up you short or thin hair. A cute barret or headband can make any hair do adorable. :)

Warnings

* None, this only promotes healthy habits, which are positive even if your hair doesn't grow like you like.

Good luck!!

Hair thinned?

when u go to get ur hair thinned how does it work? does it hurt?

also, when they straighten it professionaly, is it pernament? i want it to be pernament....

Hair thinned?

Nope. Actually I have one of those thinning scissors and they don't hurt at all! And, some are not permanent but some are my friend got this magic straightening gel that a professional did and now its permanent.

Hair thinned?

ooooh i never heard of that but it probably wont hurt

Hair thinned?

Just go to a professional to get it straight, once your hair is straight, it will look a little bit thinner. It's not permanent, it will last for at least a year.

Hair thinned?

Having your Hair thinned dose not hurt at all i have super thick hair and i have to get mine done often all it is is cutting the hair near the roots. When you have your hair professionly straigtened it is not permanemt if you want it to be pernament then just keep straignting it everyday

Hair thinned?

no, it doesnt hurt.

and no its not permanant either, but it does stay straight for a while sometimes.

My hair looks greasy and stringy a few hours after washing.?

I have very thin hair. I hate how greasy it looks after a few minutes. I was my hair twice everyday, and use a conditioner. I normally don't use any products in my hair.

My hair looks greasy and stringy a few hours after washing.?

Try to only wash your hair once a day, and you really only need conditioner on the ends. I read this bit of advice and it worked great for me, so next time you wash, try to condition only from the middle of your head to your ends. Trust me it will work, also try not to touch your hair through the day, running your hands through it will only make it dirtier and greasier. Good luck! :)

My hair looks greasy and stringy a few hours after washing.?

The reason is because you are washing your hair too much try once a day and if it still dose it wash it every other day - your washing all of the natural oils out of your hair that it needs to be shiny and healthy... and try using a light conditioner - get some shampoo and conditioner for OILY hair - may have to get some at SALLY"S beauty supply or a hair salon to get a good one - see if that works... hope it dose

My hair looks greasy and stringy a few hours after washing.?

To me , I think your hair is a bit too thin so it easily can get damaged. You might have also washed it too much. Try once a day and Try using more conditioner and less shampoo to make it look neat. For the tips dont dry your hair in order to make it not look greasy. my hair was like that before then my friend gave me the tips so now my hair looks neat indeed!

My hair looks greasy and stringy a few hours after washing.?

My dad had this problem %26amp; 2 women I knew too. The women used Dawn dish soap %26amp; that helped keep their hair less greasy longer. They constracted (sp) on there scalp more as that is where the over-active glands are. Hope this helps

My hair looks greasy and stringy a few hours after washing.?

Agreed that the above

My hair looks greasy and stringy a few hours after washing.?

Okay, first of all, you may be washing your hair too much. This may seem crazy to you, but I think that washing too often can actually stimulate your scalp to produce more oil...so, you end up with greasy hair fast. I used to wash my hair every day, and swore that I couldn't let it go longer, but have since stopped, and now I can go a couple days without washing. Second, the type of shampoo and conditioner that you use may be a problem. Some shampoos are more harsh than others - making the greasy hair issue worse, not better. Use a very gentle shampoo, not the ones for greasy hair necessarily. Try Dove if you shop at the local pharmacy, and just get the type for normal hair. Dove seems to be pretty gentle for an inexpensive brand. Third, don't overdo the conditioner. If you're using the right kind for your hair, it will rinse clean and smooth, but not slimy. I've used some that feel almost slimy-soft in the shower, only to find my hair limp and gross when dry. I use a relatively expensive conditioner by Loreal Professional...you may want to consider talking to a stylist at your local salon about a product that is light and protective without making your hair greasy.

I think the most important thing is that you NOT wash your hair as often - and yeah, it will be hard to do at first - and let your scalp get back to normal. You may need to get in the habit of only wearing your hair down early in the day and then wearing it up and off your face later and the next day....maybe even wear a hat if you can. It was not easy, but since I stopped washing my hair every day and use better products, I have much nicer hair and I only need to wash it every couple days. Good luck!

My hair looks greasy and stringy a few hours after washing.?

You may be over-conditioning. Rather than conditioning your hair all over, try shampooing, then applying conditioner only to your length. About from your ears down, if you have long hair. Avoid your roots and scalp. Comb gently with a wide-tooth shower comb to remove tangles and then rinserinserinse.

A rinse of a little apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar if you are blonde), a couple of ounces in about four cups of warm water. Pour it over your scalp and hair, (careful of your eyes!!) after you S%26amp;C and rinse. Then rinse again. HTH.

My hair looks greasy and stringy a few hours after washing.?

Try using a shampoo made for oily hair, and only wash it once a day. You're removing a lot of your hair's essential oils, and you body knows it, so it replaces it to protect your thin hair. Herbal essences makes a good shampoo for normal to oily hair, it's green. I used to use it, it works really well.

Until your hair gets back to normal once you're started washing it only once a day, you could try using powder in your hair to absorb the oil. You can buy it in beauty shops. Use white for blonde hair, red for red hair, and red or brown for brown hair, depending on the shade of brown your hair is. Don't use a lot, just enough to lightly cover all of your hair.

My hair looks greasy and stringy a few hours after washing.?

Honestly your washing your hair to much. Use a shampoo and conditioner made for oily hair. Technically your not supposed to wash your hair but every three days. As to let the natural oils help your hair grow etc. Anyway though if the shampoo and conditioner don't work try using an astringent. . .like Sea Breeze it should help or at least it helped my sister. And these suggestions or anyone else's don't work i suggest going to your stylist after all it is their job to know hair inside and out. Good Luck!

My hair looks greasy and stringy a few hours after washing.?

are you always touching your hair? or running your fingers through it? this can make your hair greasy. Make sure you use clean towels to towel dry it

My hair looks greasy and stringy a few hours after washing.?

change ur shampoo and conditioner. untell u find one that works for u.

How to straigthen the hair using straightening machine at home?

i have a machine at home "conair" is the brand which it belongs to

i havent straighthen the hair ever before

so if possible give me all measures to straighthen hair

i have long hair a bit wavy not much, thin hair

i dont have any idea how to do it since will be doing it for the first time pls help, thank u

How to straigthen the hair using straightening machine at home?

If you could, blow dry your hair straight. That way your hair wont be exposed to heat most of the time. But if you were to straighten your hair, make sure you use protectant spray. Divide your head in parts. The wavier the hair the smaller your sections should be so you can straighten correctly. Spray your comb, and comb through your hair. Then get your flat iron and work your way to your roots to the tips of your hair. Hope this helps!!

How to straigthen the hair using straightening machine at home?

it would probably work best if you had someone else do it for you, because it will be hard to do the back. Make sure your hair is brushed. what you need to do is take small sections of your hair(its best if the rest of your hair is tied up away from the bits you are straightening) and start from near your scalp,(but not too close or you will burn yourself) and slowly move the hair straightener down the hair to the end. you might have to do each section of hair a couple of times to get it straight.Combing through your hair while you are straightening is good too.

Is this kind of hair style cute?

I have long, straight dark brown hair. It's about to my mid back. Lightly layered, and parted down the middle. I have thin hair, but a lot of it. My hair stays pretty flat though.

Sometimes, it gets wavy if I let it air dry or get caught in the rain. :)

Is that good or bad hair?

Thanks!

Is this kind of hair style cute?

That's really pretty hair. We all like seeing really long %26amp; straight hair, the really heavenly and ethereal-type of hair. But you may want to add some volume to it, if you wish, since you wrote that it's "pretty flat." So I recommend using some of Frederic Fekkai's products for volumizing hair. [See source]

A little pricey, but a little goes a long way.

It works really well; I've tried his glossing creams %26amp; conditioners, and I have a similar hair type to yours.

Hope this helps!

Is this kind of hair style cute?

good i guess

Is this kind of hair style cute?

very good. you probly hott.

Is this kind of hair style cute?

GOOD :D

Is this kind of hair style cute?

your hair sounds a lot like mine!

but, i would recommend getting bangs or side bangs, but if you get regular, straight across bangs make them to your mid-eyebrow so you dont look like a 1st grader! =]

you just need a little..... pizaz. =]. do something with it, intense layers or something. but i think you'd look great with somekind of bangs. =]

Is this kind of hair style cute?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone's going to have a different opinion.

Is this kind of hair style cute?

it sounds good my hair is like poofy and thick and weird

Straighter hair?

is there any way that a stylist could cut my hair to make it dry straighter..i have kinda thin hair and it a little past my shoulders......i also have blonde hair.

Straighter hair?

It really depends.Like if you have naturally curky then no the stylist cant cut your hair to make it dry straight unless he/she uses a blowdryer to straighten your hair which doesnt last long and will go back to how your hair usually is unless you get a perm.

Straighter hair?

well there is a trick that hairstylists use to make her thin out which will probably make it dry straighter but most of the time you would have to layer your hair.

Straighter hair?

layers! when you dry your hair use a blow dryer with the thing at the end thats like a comb i forgot what its called do that then filp your hair upside down and do it again

Straighter hair?

Well just ask them to put some straightening serum on your hair blow dry and flat iron!

Straighter hair?

layers is prolly only thing that I can think of just straighten it or you could also use straightening shampoo and conditioners as easy as pie

Hair troubblee?

I've been wanting to dye and cut my hair for a while now. But i'm really confused as too what i should do. :/

I have honey/ light blonde hair. it's wavy-ish//straight, but i have really thin hair.

gray/blue eyes (they change colors, idk, haha)

and the legnth is to about my boobs. (sorry for the details there)

and i have fair skin. cool undertones.

its basically all one legnth, with no layers, excpet for swideswept bangs.

so yes. i don't know what color or cut/syle. so if you could please help me out. it would appriciated.

THANK YOU. :)

(p.s I would like to keep my most of my length)

Hair troubblee?

good for you! keep your length, long hair is sexy..... and guys like it! i would not dye it, dying hair ruins it eventually, it will get brittle and loose its vibrancy with a color not its own. Keep it blonde!! my hair is that color and i love it, ive never done anything to my hair except cut it.

here are some cute pics... im getting my hair cut on friday and am keeping my length too. Here are some pics

just scroll down on this page:

http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/long/

(you can also go to other places on this site for more photos :D:D)

heres another good site:

http://beauty.about.com/od/hairstylephot...

(((( on this one ^^^ you can for those kind of layers since your hair is thin..... but just make some longer layers at the bottom so you can keep your length))))

best of luck!! i always love getting my hair cut!!!

Hair troubblee?

you should keep it simple and natural... dont dye it just get highlights...

Hair troubblee?

maybe get layers. or highlights that are brown/chestnut.

Hair troubblee?

I basically have everything you have except the gray/blue eyes (gorgeous!) I think cutting your hair a little shorter and dying it brown would look great. For the thin hair problem (ah i have it too =[) get layers! It adds so much body/volume. I think fronts bangs are cute too, if you keep your hair long!

Hair troubblee?

i wish i had thin hair

i just dyed mine last wednesday and its so think the whole box of color dye wasnt enough for my hair

it was blonde but now its brown on one side and part blondeish brown on the other

haha

yep

hella bored

Hair troubblee?

Get some layers and light highlights.

Hair troubblee?

that sounds pretty! thats how im trying to get mine lol...

http://www.latest-hairstyles.com/long/

but i like the second one in the second group of pics.. (the blonde w/ the poof)

i like the layers

Hair troubblee?

*try layers around ur face 2 give ur hair a fuller look........keep da bangs.

*since 2 much lenth will weigh ur hair down and make it flat, try shoulder-length hair w/ layers (ask ur stylist how many layers they think) but if u wanna keep ur length, get it trimmed (2 help split-ends) and then layers

*2 bring out ur light skin tones and normal hair color, u could either have light brown streaks (skinny) or..........

*dark brown "dark" lights (i can't remember what they're called, so just hold on a sec) i mean like have ur normal hair color on top, but then on da bottem layer of ur hair, dye it dark brown

***when ur done w/ ur haircut, don't 4get 2 ask ur hair stylest/cutter person 4 tips***

HAIR CARE TIPS 4 THIN HAIR

*wash hair often, cause da natural oils from ur scalp will weigh down ur hair fast

*try volumizing shampoo

*best 2 wash ur hair in da morning, cause scalp oils spread during da night

*only use conditioner on da ends of ur hair if u have 2, cause it can make hair limp

*2 get rid of tangles, use detangler spray or lotion, cause it's lighter than conditioner

*blow-dry ur hair upside down 2 give it a boost (first let it dry about halfway and then flip ur head over and blow-dry against da way da roots grow)

*use styling mousse 4 more body and hold

Hair troubblee?

I think you should dye your whole head a medium blonde/caramel color and then put some light blonde highlights (not FOILS!!!) though your hair and then ask the hairdresser for long layers with a long side-swept fringe.. The layers should give your hair some volume and a side fringe works wonders with thin hair.

something like this:

http://www.prohaircut.com/cameron-diaz-h...

http://www.prohaircut.com/nicole-richie-...

or maybe dye your hair a dark blonde/light brown and put some chocolate brown and reddish brown highlights through it, and get short layers through your hair with a long, thin fringe..

something like this for the cut:

http://l.yimg.com/img.tv.yahoo.com/tv/us...

and something like this for the color:

good luck!!!!

MY HAiR iS aLL STATiCY!!!!?

try rubbing your hair with dryer sheets if it get staticy.

MY HAiR iS aLL STATiCY!!!!?

TRUST ME ON THIS:

dryer sheets work like magic!!! just rub a dryer sheet through your hair and poof the static is gone!!

MY HAiR iS aLL STATiCY!!!!?

MY HAIR GETS LIKE THAT IN THE WINTER AS WELL. YOU SHOULD TRY ZERO FRIZZ AND RUN THAT THROUGH YOUR HAIR...IF YOU ARE GOING TO KEEP YOUR HAIR DOWN RUN SOME MOUSSE THROUGH IT, IT HELPS ME ALL THE TIME. IF ITS GOING TO BE UP TRY USING GEL AND MOUSSE, OR JUST TRY A BUN TO NOT SHOW THAT STATIC

MY HAiR iS aLL STATiCY!!!!?

yep, it happens to everyone, there's nothing you can do. i hate it, because i have bangs and they stick to my face!

Is the growth of facial hair completely genetic?

The only facial hair I can grow are chops and mustache, and even then, it's not thick facial hair(prob because I just have thin hair in general). I shave my face evenly because I had heard shaving will make it grow but alas, to no prevail for I have no hair on my chin to connect my chops and grow a goatee...Anyways, will I just never grow hair there cuz of genetics?

Is the growth of facial hair completely genetic?

It's mostly genetic, but you can also talk to your doctor about checking your testosterone level and even if it's normal you could still ask for a couple of testosterone shots to increase body hair growth.

xxx

Is the growth of facial hair completely genetic?

yeh I Think so,

Is the growth of facial hair completely genetic?

If your Dad has no facial then chances are pretty good that you won't either!

If your dad has to shave regularly then you might have to wait a little, based on your age.

Facial hair is overrated, and might help you win a "Spitting Contest" with your buddies at school or maybe you'll attract some young 15 yo girl.

The older you get, all the guys will have some and after a while, even having a beard, will start to look boring to the ladies. The girls will be looking for other signs that you may be different.

Go for the education!

After girls get tired of comparing facial hair or muscles as a way to tell your maleness, they will tend to choose guys who are more successful in Work, for the extra money, or, School for your intelligence.

After high school or in college, you'll find more intelligent women can be very sexy and won't care about your hair!

Good Luck!
