How can I prevent my hair from getting messed up when I walk to the metro?

I walk to the metro every morning. Spending a few minutes outside ruins my hair. All the curls and styling come out within 20 minutes and it looks like I rolled out of bed! Are there any suggests to protect hair while walking? For instance, a certain style hat, a trick that you might use to keep your hair from the elements, or maybe just a hair product that is good for soft, thin hair to keep curls in? I love walking in the morning, but I hate what it does to my hair! Any suggestions?

I picture a glamourous silk scarf wrapped around your head loosely, and tied in the back, and large Jackie O style sunglasses. Stunning.

How can I prevent my hair from getting messed up when I walk to the metro?

More hairspray or just trim that shaggy mop a little.

How can I prevent my hair from getting messed up when I walk to the metro?

Try a cute hat. Especially if your only walking a short distance. Like a newsboy hat. They are really cute. Maybe a little extra hairspray. I have found that the Chi hairspray does wonders and you can find it at Sally Beauty Supply. Good luck!

How can I prevent my hair from getting messed up when I walk to the metro?

Wear a silk scarf around your head. And get an anti-weather hair product. L'Oreal Studio has something like that.

How can I prevent my hair from getting messed up when I walk to the metro?

try some more hairspray and then maybe you could wear a cute jacket or hoodie or some thing over your hair....and try this stuff, it's called GARNIER FRUCTIS ANTI-FRIZZ HAIR SERUM..=]

Any solution to male hair fall?

I m suffering from male baldness pattern problem for last 5-6 years. I am loosing hairs from front head and from top of head. and now a days i have very thin hairs. One doctor advise me to test testtosterone harmone. the report says its within normal range. doctor told me that it may be due to that harmone is within range but it may be working more at hair tips then as expected. so due to that reason my hairs are falling. And one thing it is not hereditery. So what u people suggest to me. Is there any treatement???? can i stop atleast my hair fall??? how much is microfolecular or other hair transplantaion effective??? pls help i m 26 year old

Any solution to male hair fall?

One of the most effective conventional approaches to male pattern hair loss is the drug minoxidil. Interest in minoxidil began with the observation that the oral form of this drug, which dilates blood vessels and is taken for high blood pressure, caused hair regrowth and partially reversed baldness in some men. For baldness, a topical form of minoxidil (Regaine or Rogaine) is applied to areas of hair loss. But less than 10% of men taking it achieve satisfactory results.

Another conventional drug for baldness is the anti-androgenic drug finasteride. It inhibits the enzyme 5-alpha reductase that transforms testosterone into dihydrotestosterone. This seems to stimulate the growth of thicker, stronger, and darker hair. Both minoxidil and finasteride have side effects.

Diet

A diet that contains whole foods, particularly the outer skin of plants such as potatoes, cucumbers, green and red peppers, and sprouts can give strength to hair because they are rich in the mineral silica. Foods that are high in iron, such as lean meats, are important for people with a known iron deficiency.

Nutritional Supplements, Vitamins %26amp; Herbs

Saw palmetto - Saw palmetto oil is an accepted treatment for benign prostate hyperplasia in men. It appears to interact with various sex hormones, including dihydrotestoseteron (DHT). DHT is produced from testosterone by enzyme 5-alpha-reductase. Like most enzymes, it can be inhibited. There has been great medical interest in subtances that have the potential for inhibiting 5-alpha-reductase, and thereby preventing or treating benign prostate hyperplasia. Theoretically, saw palmetto could have also be used to block DHT and prevent hair loss. Saw palmetto is believed to have a similar mechanism of action to the anti-androgenic drug finasteride (Propecia), which has been used in low doses for hair loss.

Folic acid, biotin, vitamin B5, para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), and silica are supplements that may help maintain the color and thickness of hair.

Be sure to check your daily intake of zinc through supplements. Intake of 30 mg or higher for more than three months can induce a deficiency of copper, and low copper levels can result in hair loss. Speak to a health practitioner before supplementing copper to avoid copper overdose.

Aromatherapy

The results of one research study suggest that the essential oils of thyme, rosemary, lavender, and cedarwood mixed with an oil and applied on the areas of hair loss may stimulate hair growth. This double blind, placebo-controlled study enrolled 84 people who who massaged either these essential oils or a non-treatment oil into their scalps each night for seven months. Results showed that 44% of people in the treatment group had new hair growth compared to only 15% in the control group.

Hair Oil Recipe

3 drops of essential oil of thyme

3 drops of essential oil of lavender

3 drops of essential oil of rosemary

3 drops of essential oil of cedarwood

1/8 cup of grapeseed oil

1/8 cup of jojoba oil

Mix the ingredients together. Cover your pillow with an old towel. Apply several drops of the mixture to areas of hair loss each night, massaging gently into scalp for 3-5 minutes. Store the oil tightly covered. Do not take internally or near the eye area.

Ayurveda

Bhringaraj oil or brahmi oil are applied to the scalp regularly to stimulate hair growth. The Ayurvedic herbs ashwagandha and amla are also reported to stimulate hair growth.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

In traditional Chinese medicine, hair loss is linked to kidney deficiency syndrome. Other symptoms of kidney deficiency are weakness and fatigue and low back weakness. Kidney energy is believed to naturally decline with age, but people with early or accelerated hair loss may have particularly weak kidney energy. Kidney tonics are usually recommended.

Ways to Cope

Choose a wig or toupee before treatment begins, so that hair color and texture can be matched

Be creative! Experiment with wearing colorful turbans or scarves 閳?or try going bald

Get a prescription for a wig from your doctor because the cost is often covered by insurance

Try on different wigs, hats and turbans until you find one you really like

Wear a hat or scarf outdoors in cold weather to prevent loss of body heat

If you choose to go bald, use a sunscreen, sunblock or a hat to protect your scalp from the sun

You may want to avoid brushing your hair too much, or heating it with a hair dryer, electric rollers or curling iron to help reduce hair loss and damage

However, a Doctor should know... and you can always go for a second opinion.

Any solution to male hair fall?

I can't really help you with a solution to stop the hair loss, but I thought I'd let you know that contrary to popular belief, most women honestly don't care whether a man is bald or balding. In fact many women find it sexy. Just DON'T get a hairpiece or do the comb-over thing!!!

Shave it, mate. At least no more hair will fall.

Seriously, it's the trend. Even lots of guys with no hair problems are shaving it down to zero, just because it's cool. Girls have that something for bald men, and it's smarter than sporting a balding hairdo.

So, just go for it. You may find yourself a bit strange at first. But after a while, you'll look at old photos and say: "What bad hairdos...I look much better now."

My fella went bald at 25, he just shaves it all off and he looks very sexy for it.

Hair or No Hair that is the question? BODY HAIR?

I am hairy guy. I have thin hair on my chest, stomach, back and ***. What should I get waxed and how often?

Hair or No Hair that is the question? BODY HAIR?

Get your back done, leave the rest alone. I think it is too fem for a guy to be removing the rest. Back hair is just gross! The girls will probably tell you to wax it all and the women will tell you that a man is supposed to have hair on their body. Can't wait to see all the results.

Hair or No Hair that is the question? BODY HAIR?

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.

Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

How can i make my hair more thicker?

i used to have really thick hair in my 6th grade. I am currently in 10th grade and i seem to have to very thin hair. How i regrow all of the hair that i lost. Please urgent!!!

How can i make my hair more thicker?

try getting a comb and then pulling it right out. Or try blow drying it so it can at least be thicker. I mean, do you use a straightning iron?

How can i make my hair more thicker?

Do you have a nutritional deficiency? THat could have caused your rapid hair loss. See a doctor to make sure you don't have an underlying condition.

The fastest way to thicken your hair is to use extensions. You can get clip in extensions for about $20 each. You might need 3 or 4 to add some body to your hair. Celebrities often use this trick. You can dye and cut them to blend them into your hair.

You can also get a good layer cut. A well cut hairstyle can maximize what body your hair has. You probably want layers starting around chin length. Then, learn how to give yourself really good blow out.

Finally, the last trick is to get highlights. When you use hair color, it plumps up the strands of hair making it look thicker.

There you go. Now go look fabulous.

What is the best hair style for a teenager boy?

I'm having this problem since I don't know really what to do,

First of all I'm a guy...

If I have a big forehead, a little roundly medium eyes and THIN hair what's the best you can suggest?

I'm a student, so some REALLY cool style are not allowed in school such as: mohox, semi-skinhead and emo like hairs.

I don't want fall hair, what I mean is my hair is totally down. I like if you suggest cool ones like, spiky blah blah...

My hair is not exceeded to my ears, my bangs are above my eyebrows and my rear hair is "long back".

It is good if you show the link of the image. Cause if you suggest just the name. MEN! It's kinda useless.

What is the best hair style for a teenager boy?

They don't allow emo hair? What retards!!

Basically the style now is hair that is a few inches shorter than shoulder-length. The bangs are swept back to the side and every other hair is even lengthed, except for the very back, which is a little longer.

What is the best hair style for a teenager boy?

Uh the "cool" hair style seems to be the swept back bang thingy...

Straighter hair?

is there any way that a stylist could cut my hair to make it dry straighter..i have kinda thin hair and it a little past my shoulders......i also have blonde hair.

Straighter hair?

It really depends.Like if you have naturally curky then no the stylist cant cut your hair to make it dry straight unless he/she uses a blowdryer to straighten your hair which doesnt last long and will go back to how your hair usually is unless you get a perm.

Straighter hair?

well there is a trick that hairstylists use to make her thin out which will probably make it dry straighter but most of the time you would have to layer your hair.

Straighter hair?

layers! when you dry your hair use a blow dryer with the thing at the end thats like a comb i forgot what its called do that then filp your hair upside down and do it again

Straighter hair?

Well just ask them to put some straightening serum on your hair blow dry and flat iron!

Straighter hair?

layers is prolly only thing that I can think of just straighten it or you could also use straightening shampoo and conditioners as easy as pie

What products promote hair to grow thicker and longer?

Nutritionists have pinpointed certain vitamins and minerals that have proven to be beneficial. I have listed some here along with the foods in which they can be found.

The B vitamin biotin appears to thicken hair fibers, lessen shedding and enhance hair growth. You will find this in brewers yeast, soy flour, cereals, egg yolk, milk, nuts, vegetables, raw beef liver, raw oysters, and cauliflower.

It is also reported that an iron deficiency can cause a woman閳ユ獨 body to stop producing hair until the iron is replaced. Foods high in iron are liver, lean red meat, chicken, pork, salmon, egg yolk, pumpkin seeds, dried peas and beans, bran, blackstrap molasses, prune juice, raisons, peanut butter, apricots, green beans, walnuts, cashews, pecans and almonds. Iron absorption is increased by Vitamin C, so it seems we also need to make sure we get the recommended amount of that nutrient by eating oranges, grapefruit, potatoes, broccoli and brussel sprouts, red and green peppers, tomatoes, cabbage and collard greens.

Nutritionists say that too little protein in a diet can cause dull hair and a loss of luster. We can get the protein that is recommended daily from meat, chicken and fish as well as soy and milk products and even stinging nettles (boiled).

warning that crash diets can cause hair loss and a poor quality of hair. Any woman who loses twenty pounds or more in a three-month period is likely to have a problem with hair loss. A habit of eating a well-rounded diet of the foods named here will go along way in keeping our hair thick and healthy.

Hair Styles and Colours?

Im asking this question for a friend....

Shes got quite pale skin andhas currently got blonde hair, she is thinking of dying it to a brunette sort of colour. What colour would look best suited with the skin colour, whats the best way for her to go about dying it (she would prefer to use a home dying kit rather than salon dying), and any nice styles to have with this colour would be very appreciated, also any links you have or anything like that. She has quite thin hair so if there are any proffesional hair people on here that could help that would be great.

Thanks x

Hair Styles and Colours?

dye it plaide, or maybe clear would work nicely.

good luck!

Hair Styles and Colours?

don't know

Hair Styles and Colours?

like a light brown or something cause if shes really white then she shouldnt go to dark

Hair Styles and Colours?

Does she have freckles? She could go strawbeery blonde or red if she had fair skin. The freckles would make it look extra cute. If she wants to go red, she's in luck because she has light hair already. Going light to dark is easier than vice versa.

If she wants to go brunette, it would depend on her eye color. If she had rich chocolate brown eyes, she could go Anne Hathaway in "The Devil Wears Prada" brown:

http://filmcritic1963.typepad.com/interv...

If she has lighter eyes, I would suggest a lighter brown with blonde highlights. Like Jennifer Aniston:

http://www.beautyriot.com/stuff/images/a...

However, I need to also stress that going to a professional will be so much better (one that has a good reputation). But if you can't afford that, she should check out drugstore.com and eopinions.com for reviews of home-dying kits.

Good luck.

Hair Styles and Colours?

First of all, we don't know what she looks like, the shape of her face and her body feature. I am just making a safe guess, if she has pale skin and blonde hair, maybe she can try hazelnut, natural color but has a sexy touch to it, it might bring out her eyes more since her skin color is quite pale. Brunette might make her look even paler than she is. I would suggest her to go for a salon other than home dying kits, simply because she can speak to her hairstylist and make a decision together. Getting advice from a hairstylist might not be a bad idea. Besides, she should get a hair treatment after coloring. It will improve the quality of colored hair. Best if you can go with her so she can get a second opinion. I know how it feels when you can't make up your mind. lol!

Hair problem.Please help.?

try using fructis shampoo it makes your hair wavy and shiny and very pretty

Hair problem.Please help.?

maybe get bangs and have a pony tail idk

Hair problem.Please help.?

i dont know about natural but there is this amazing shampoo that is sold in salons (even cheaper at the salon that is in walmarts) that is called nioxin. it really works i know first hand. it is about 20dlls a bottle but they are big and last a while cancer patients use it to grow their hair back it works

Hair problem.Please help.?

yes. you can crack and egg on top of your hair, and then leave it in for about 5 mins and before you crak the egg, you might wanna dampen your hiare. well after the egg crackin after 5 mins, wash it out, and shampoo. then condition. tip: if you want really volumized hair, then you should first start putting the conditioner on at the mid section of your hair. the slowly make the condition to the roots. do not put conditioner directly to roots as it will make hair flatter.

Is Sun-in more damaging than regular hair dye?

My natural hair colour is medium/light goldish brown. I used Sun-in for a few years and loved the beautiful golden caramel colour it brought out in my hair...it looks very natural on me. I usually touch up the roots every 4 months or so, but my hair is very thin and I've been told that Sun-in will just make my thin hair problem worse because of the peroxide in it. Would switching to regualr hair dye be any less damaging than Sun-in?

Because Sun-in looks so natural on me, I don't need to touch up the roots too often, so that's why I've been chosing it over regualr hair dyes.

Is Sun-in more damaging than regular hair dye?

No...anything with peroxide is damaging to your hair, regular hair dye has peroxide too. You need to make sure that you condition regularly and trim. You are lucky that it gives you the color you desire...so many people have ended up with orange hair!

As for making your thin hair problem worse...only if you over do and cause breakage..ie., constant use of the product and not conditioning...heat stylers and brushing it when wet..always use a wide tooth comb...please

Is Sun-in more damaging than regular hair dye?

no

Is Sun-in more damaging than regular hair dye?

no sun in is a natural prduct and is better than other dyes if you think it is bad then use a natrual product like lemin juice or beet juice. but sun in is ok

Is Sun-in more damaging than regular hair dye?

I hate Sun-In!! THE COLOR OF IT IS SO UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!

Is Sun-in more damaging than regular hair dye?

I am not sure if it is more harmful to your hair than dye. However both hair dye and Sun-In has bleach, which causes hair to become brittle. Therefore, neither is good for your hair.

I say go for whatever you feel comfortable...just be sure to use conditioner!

Good luck and take care! :D

Is Sun-in more damaging than regular hair dye?

i used sun in once--turned my hair orange. never again!!!!!!

Is Sun-in more damaging than regular hair dye?

well, dye, bleach and sun in are all different. and hair dye, is better than bleach or sun-in. but if you are lightening your hair you will be using bleach. for a good opinion go to sallys and ask a color specialist what would be best. maybe you just want to do highlights, then you wont be damaging all of your hair.

Is getting my hair thinned out worth it?

I have semi thick hair. At the moment it isnt the easiest to straighten. My hair is straight but then the ends kind of curl under. Will getting my hair thinned out make it easier to straighten?

Is getting my hair thinned out worth it?

I've noticed a huge diffrence!! Not only is it easier to straighten but you don't feel all that weight on your head. And it doesn't take as long to blow dry! :)

I think it's worth it!!

Is getting my hair thinned out worth it?

yepp. pretty sure that's what they did to mine, makes a huge difference! temporarily but still. lol =)

Girls who have stripped their hair??

I went a dark brown last winter.. and now I'm looking to get a light brown with blonde highlights for the summer.. My hairdresser said we would have to strip it to get it that light and it could damage my hair. I already have pretty thin hair with a little damage.. Would stripping it completely ruin my hair? What other options do I have?

For those who have had their hair stripped.. what were your experiences? Was it worth it? How long did it take your hair to bounce back? Any certain conditioners help?

Please give me all information you can...Thanks girls!

Girls who have stripped their hair??

Hey - What's happening? Just sent you an email

I have gone form dark brown to white blond, and several shades in between - summer color vs winter color. Not worth it AT ALL, to strip it. Killed my hair!

This is what I did - Bought the light brown / ash blond hair color from WALMART, and did it myself. Tons cheaper, better for my hair than the stripper they always want to use. Then I bought Shine blond shampoo and conditioner made by Loreal - think they make a new one now - but I suggest using THEIR products. Have a super mix of light brown hair and "natural" blond /light brown highlights. My hair is healthy too.

Girls who have stripped their hair??

when i got mine stripped (bleached w/e) it fell out just a little.. but it's alright. even though stripping will hurt your hair badly, you can still go for it and you may wanna discuss it with your hairdresser.

Girls who have stripped their hair??

the hair falls and breaks coz the proctetive alyer on the hair is gone. the hair becomes thin and delicate...my advice DONT DO IT... u'll regret especially since ur hair ia already thin

Girls who have stripped their hair??

Hey Felicia, let me just say I admire your courage. Instead of completely stripping your hair I suggest you keep your dark hair and instead ask for some thin caramel or honey colored streaks. Ask your hairdresser for the best color for your skin tone. This will give you a summer look without having to risk your hair.

Girls who have stripped their hair??

My mum had her hair stripped to go blonde from brunette and despite having quite thick hair its not very good for it at all. It left the hair very brittle and she had to use intensive conditioning treatments to get it back to its normal glossy self. When my sister went lighter she took the longer option of getting the colour gradually put into her roots to blend in with her current colour till she was the shade she wanted but this is a lengthy process. Im not sure if it would ruin your hair I would talk to your hairdresser for more advice though.

Girls who have stripped their hair??

I did this to my hair, it looks rough now, the protective stuff is gone, i have to use a special spampoo to strengthen my hair because it was so damaged from coloring and stripping(I only had it done 2 times too!). It fell out alot too, and I had-have thin hair. I would not advise you to do it. good luck

Chi Hair Striaghtener?

I just got a chi for Christmas and it was ecstatic!

I opened it and it was the original chi model with NO temperature switch. That was an upset for me, because I have fine/thin hair, and I really don't want to fry it.

Anyhoo I triedit and all I got was kinda straight frizzy hair.

Am I maybe having a bad hair day? Should I try it again tomorrow when I have a fresh wash?

Or should I exchange it for this one

which has a heat controller.

Merry Christmas!

Chi Hair Striaghtener?

Don't trade it in, CHIs are really awesome. I've had mine for over 2 years and I have fine hair. I've never fried it. The main rules when straightening is 1) Take smaller sections, the heat is more evenly applied 2) You can't go over it really fast, take your time going down the hair. Don't stop at all though it will cause a crease and 3) Pressure is your friend, hold it tight enough that it has a good grip on it but that it doesn't stick.

Also, try and get some good products to put in your hair beforehand to protect it. CHI Iron Guard is perfect

Chi Hair Striaghtener?

make sure that you are straightening small sections at a time. I also have very fine hair, but I keep my temp control on high. My hair hasn't fried yet and I've been straightening for about 5 years! I don't get a great result if I try to straighten too much hair in a section. I usually clip up the top part of my hair and work in sections. Good luck and merry christmas!

Chi Hair Striaghtener?

i'm not completely sure, but i believe that chi and farouk are owned by the same company.

do your hair in small sections and you have to run it the length of your hair very slowly. so SLOW DOWN.

the reasoning behind the chi not having a control switch is that the ceramic plates will not burn your hair. i have fine, thin hair. i have bought low end flat irons and high end flat irons (an imatation chi, ripped off by ebay). the bottom line, as long as you get your hair trimmed every six weeks, you'll be fine. i haven't found anything that keeps my hair straight during humid weather. let me know if this really works...

Help... hair extensions ????

I have straight thin hair. I brought the extension hair from sally beauty salon.

It matches my hair perfectly.

I'm going to have my bestfriend put them in for me. I can't afford to go to a salon here in miami its way to expensive. "/

I want someone to explain how to put them in step by step so she can do.

I've tried the clip ons and I hate it. They fall off quick and I want the ones that last a few months.

I don't want the glu type nor the braiding.

There's another type of way I can't remember the name?

If you know how pleaseeeeeee help me

What supplies? %26amp;%26amp; how to put them in.

Help help help. Thank you greatly!

Help... hair extensions ????

i'm sorry but there really is no other way.

i've worn extentions for 3 years now and the only way is glue on, clip in, braiding and the wig sorta looking ones.

here's a website that will help you.

What hair styling product helps tame naturally curly/frizzy hair?

I have curly/frizzy, thin hair and I've tried almost every product that I could get my hands on, and my hair either gets frizzier or sticky/flaky. To make matters worse, I live in a very humid state. HELP!

What hair styling product helps tame naturally curly/frizzy hair?

Try Bed Head After Party and Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Contol Anti-Humidity Hair Spray.

What hair styling product helps tame naturally curly/frizzy hair?

Try IC hair polisher in the blue bottle from the beauty supply store. It works well with frizzy hair

What hair styling product helps tame naturally curly/frizzy hair?

Frizz Ease works really good. It a hair serum you get and it looks greasy but it really isn't. It is made by John Frieda. It is clear and oily looking but it works great. You can buy it at Wal Mart for about 6 dollars.

What hair styling product helps tame naturally curly/frizzy hair?

You're kind of doomed in a humid state.

Have you tried Knotty Boy products? Stay away from heavy conditioners because they make the hair porous, spongey. Which leads to more frizz.

Knotty Boy bar soap and leave in spray conditioner makes my baby fine curly hair so nice!

Aveda products work very well for me too but they are SO expensive!!!

What hair styling product helps tame naturally curly/frizzy hair?

I too have very curly hair and have found one of the most tried and true products to be Matrix Biolage Gelee. I have tried just about every other product on the market and have always gone back to the Biolage. Being that your hair is thin, you might have to go along the lines of Mousse though. I would try Matrix Biolage Styling Foam.

What hair styling product helps tame naturally curly/frizzy hair?

been there done that

i use more than one hair product and it works for a pretty long time i use

1 any kind of mouse

2sunsilk frizz control cream(green bottle u can get anywhere $3)

What hair styling product helps tame naturally curly/frizzy hair?

I LOVE Curls Rock! I buy it in hair salons. It's about $12 for a container - put it on wet hair and then dry - I love it - espically when it is humid outside!

Hair Style [emo-iy]?

Ok, I didn't make this question for emo haters to flame so only constructive answers please!

This is my hair at the moment

http://img229.imageshack.us/my.php?image...

But I'm getting my fringe cut (it's terrible) and the front of my hair. Should I cut my fringe just above my eye with jagged bits over my eye, straight over my eye or just slightly under my eye?

What do you think? And if you have any pictures of your idea feel free to say. I have really thin hair so no going on about tons of layers!

Thanks in advance!

Hair Style [emo-iy]?

I can't see your picture so I don't know what it looks like.

If you want to go really jagged, cut your bangs really choppy.

and if you want it to be 'emo' in over your eyes. have them so they are all diffrent lenghths.

Straight across woujld be more sweet and cute. if your looking for somehting edgyER, go for the jagged sideswept.

Hair Style [emo-iy]?

I can't get to the pic but if you like search, emo hair on google or somewhere like that then you can print one you like and give it to the hairdresser, so they can do their thang!!

Hair Style [emo-iy]?

Can't see the pic, sorry

Hair Style [emo-iy]?

The pic wont work...

But for a emo look you can never go wrong with big bangs dyed blonde.

Hair Style [emo-iy]?

I wouldn get it cut just above your eye and downwards around the eye so it looks emo and kinda like a side fringe but thats beacuse when hair gets in my eyes it gets annyoing for me!

If you can handle it sometimes its really hot to have a side fringe that goes over the eye a long one that is :)

I can't see ur pic so thats all the advice i can give u x

Plus people that hate emo kids have a right problem for goodness sake why should it even be their buisness the way some people want to dress people have freedom to do/dress what they want its no one else's buisness let them be kids and get on with it and do what they want to do in their life cos its too short :)

Hair Style [emo-iy]?

there was a big fat x on your picture

Hair Style [emo-iy]?

sorry couldn't help can't see the pic

Hair Style [emo-iy]?

i would go with over the eye.. it will be totally awesome looking and it wont be annoying for you either.

How to keep hair straight?

Hi!

I have mid-length, thin hair and I wear collarerd shirts for school. I straighten my hair everyday, using heat protective spray, and my hair tends to stay straight when I'm not in school! At school I think the collar on my shirt causes my hair to flick and look a mess :(

Any ideas about what I could do to keep it straight?

Thankyou so much :)

How to keep hair straight?

John Freida makes a hairspray called moisture barrier. After you've straightened your hair, and preferably if you're using a round brush, spray the brush with the hair spray, and brush through your hair. It should distribute the spray through out without giving it the hairspray feel, but should keep it straight all day. Thats what I do and it works great!

How to keep hair straight?

you can use pomade.

it can feel kind of gross, like you have oily hair.

but it keeps your hair in place and it doesn't even look like you have anything in it :]

How to keep hair straight?

Shave it off? =-)

How to keep hair straight?

For straightening hair at home, you can use a hair iron and a straightening shampoo will also help. If you wish to straighten for a longer time, you can undergo Japanese hair straightening. I found this website useful http://hcr.in/straighten.html

How to keep hair straight?

Quit wearing high collard shirts.

eww no, all wigs look fake (too me)

How many women out there wears a wig? let's say your hair is hard to manage or too thin. Would you wear a wig?

Definitely. I have worn them. I had always said that I wouldnt wear a wig but I changed my mind about 2 years ago. It is very convenient. I'm wearing a ponytail right now because its so hot, but as it cool off, my wigs will be back on my head and I have no problem with it. It took some getting used to at first but after a couple of hours I forgot I had it on.

Nope.

How many women out there wears a wig? let's say your hair is hard to manage or too thin. Would you wear a wig?

I have worn wigs to get completely different hairstyles versus wearing a weave.

How many women out there wears a wig? let's say your hair is hard to manage or too thin. Would you wear a wig?

Yeap!

Every year to year and a half, I get it all cut of and donate it to Locks of Love. Been doing it since my best friend got sick and lost her hair (did it to support her and not have her as the only high school senior without hair). I did had it all buzzed off again last month. I usually keep it buzzed until I get tired of it and then let it start growing again. Normally I go without a wig, but if I feel like I want to have hair (like going to a fancy restaurant or formal event), I have a medium length and a long wig. Wearing a wig is no big deal.

How many women out there wears a wig? let's say your hair is hard to manage or too thin. Would you wear a wig?

yea why not...i never worn one before but i would....they come in handy when your having a bad hair day...

How many women out there wears a wig? let's say your hair is hard to manage or too thin. Would you wear a wig?

I am a hairstylist and I love to wear Hair pieces...they are really fun...You don't have to go for a full wig...try a hair piece that is a ponytail. just pull your hair back and clip it in.....have straight hair get a curly one....the best hair accessory......guys love them too...

How many women out there wears a wig? let's say your hair is hard to manage or too thin. Would you wear a wig?

no, that's too wierd, go to a stylist or something.

How many women out there wears a wig? let's say your hair is hard to manage or too thin. Would you wear a wig?

Wigs are great. I have long curly brown hair, but sometimes for fun, I wear a wig. I have several in different colors and styles and I also have hair peices like pony tails and removeably extensions. They are great for just changing your look or trying a new style before you go get your hair cut. Just make sure that the wig doesn't look fake and is a good quality weave.

How many women out there wears a wig? let's say your hair is hard to manage or too thin. Would you wear a wig?

nope i have never worn a wig and i don't think that i will eva. i luv my hair

Am I a good candidate for hair extensions? Which kind?

I have thin/thinning hair, but I believe it is due partly to heredity, and being accelerated by a poor diet. Should I consider hair extensions? If so, should I get the "braided" kind or the chemically bonded kind?

Am I a good candidate for hair extensions? Which kind?

don't get the bonded kind

Am I a good candidate for hair extensions? Which kind?

if your hair is already thinning the braids might be more stress on your hair than needed! I would suggest glue tracks or the fused hair extensions - the fused need to be touched up but they are more realistic you dont have to worry about your track slipping you would have more maintnence with those and the cost is more but if you can afford it - well worth it -

for glued in tracks if you dont do it at home it would prob cost around $45-50 and the fused ones around 150 and up -

i would suggest going to a black hair stylist to have glued tracks in fused either way - reason being black stylist probally deal with tracks more than a white one - even though they are trained in school experience is a plus -

Am I a good candidate for hair extensions? Which kind?

No, I do not think you should get extensions. They can damage and pull your hair out making it thinner.

I'm cheap, but also have thin hair. What could you buy for thin hair that cost less than 30 dol

back to basics has a thickening cream that works wonders and it is one of the cheapest things you can by in a salon. it will run you about 10-12 bucks. a lot of my customers use this and i send they elsewhere to get it because we don't carry the ghram webb line and they all love it.

only other one that i would personally recommend it the thickening cream by redken which is about the same price and is easier to find.

https://www.salonsavings.com/detail/1202...

I'm cheap, but also have thin hair. What could you buy for thin hair that cost less than 30 dollars.?

Mane and tail!

I'm cheap, but also have thin hair. What could you buy for thin hair that cost less than 30 dollars.?

a hat

I'm cheap, but also have thin hair. What could you buy for thin hair that cost less than 30 dollars.?

Do you want to make it have more volume? If so, check out your local drugstore's haircare isle and look for volumizing mousse and burushes!

How do I make my hair thicker and healthy again? It is so thin.?

Hair loss can be a function of poor diet. Make sure youre eating a balanced diet with lots of whole grains, fruits, veggies, and lean meats. You might want to take a muilt-vitamin as well (like Centrum). If that doesnt help, you might need to see a doctor because you could have a medical problem

How do I make my hair thicker and healthy again? It is so thin.?

Eat more green vegetables and choose the soft comb.

How do I make my hair thicker and healthy again? It is so thin.?

take codliveroil or any omega 3/6 oil!

How do I make my hair thicker and healthy again? It is so thin.?

I started losing hair because I went on the pill and was having an enormous amount of stress at school. Maybe you are also faced with one of these. Make sure you get in lots of protein and try not to pull your hair back too often. Wearing it down will make it stronger and reduces stress on the follicles. And take care of any major stress factors in your life, because that's always a big part of it.

How to get rid of hair tangles?

The tips of my hair are always so tangled, what can I do? I always shampoo a little and condition a lot every 2 days. I have long, thin hair, which is fine until about 4 inches from the bottom and its all frizzy mess. I want to be able to wear my hair down! I can comb it ok and then 10mins after its frizzy again. It always parts into strands, I'd like to to flow as smooth and flowing if that makes any sense. Any suggestions?

How to get rid of hair tangles?

Use a moisterizing conditioner. Try to leave it in for about 3-5 minutes before rinsing it out. WHen you get out of the shower put a "Leave-in conditioner" in your hair, this will help with the frizzies and it will detangle it.

Try to stay away from the walmart brand shampoos and conditions.

I recommend: Redken, Biolage, Joico-K pac

How to get rid of hair tangles?

This is the best!

http://www.infusium23.com/us/index.jsp

I use it now and I also had a neighbor whos hair got all tangled and matted and I put in the infusium leave in conditioner and it combed right out, its great to use to for tangles and damage it leaves your hair soft also and has not smell to it. I have tried lots of things and it seems to be the best.

Good luck...

How to get rid of hair tangles?

do you straighten it

this also helps to get rid of frizz

you can also buy frizz creams

sometimes its better not to use a lot of conditioner

How to get rid of hair tangles?

When you're in the shower, use a conditionner/treatment that you can leave in for about 10 minutes. I can recommend Terax. It's phenomenal, expensive, but since you only use it about twice a week, itll last a while.

when you get out of the shower, use a Leave in conditionner, usually comes in a spray bottle, i recommend senscience or biosilk.

How to get rid of hair tangles?

I use SunSilk "Straighten Up" creme. You put a dime size amount in your hand and rub equal amounts through your hair. The good thing about this stuff is that you can put it in your hair when it's wet OR dry! You can let your hair dry on its own and get waves, or you can keep brushing it out until it's dry for straighter hair. Either style, it smoothes your hair out, "de-frizzifies" it and you have a LOT less tangles. It's great, and I love it.

You can usually find them at Wal*Mart stores and ones similar to that at about 3 bucks for 7 oz. Look for the purple bottle. :]

How to get rid of hair tangles?

combing your hair will only frizz your hair more, try trimming your hair

Is it possible to grow facial hair if I didn't come from a "hairy" family?

I'm Chinese, and I'm sure you all know that Chinese people don't really have hairy faces. I want to have a hairier face. Is it possible? So far, I only have a little bit of mustache like on the sides, and a decent goatee. My dad can grow a mustache and goatee. I don't have hairy sideburns. I do have a lot of thin hair on my face like I can grow sideburns and a beard, but every time I shave them, it grows back thin and not visible to others. Anyway, my main question is-- is it possible for me to grow MORE facial hair (ie. beard) if my family genes in past generations aren't hairy? I read some answers to similar questions, and people said to keep shaving. I shave my goatee and mustache every other day because that's how fast they grow back, but not much of my mustache grows (only still the sides).

Is it possible to grow facial hair if I didn't come from a "hairy" family?

Hair is actually a modified type of skin. Hair grows everywhere on the human body except the palms of the hands, soles of the feet, eyelids, and lips. Hair grows more quickly in summer than winter, and more slowly at night than during the day.

Is it possible to grow facial hair if I didn't come from a "hairy" family?

Yes.If your dad has hair on his face,it's possible you can.

Is it possible to grow facial hair if I didn't come from a "hairy" family?

it's possible.

Is it possible to grow facial hair if I didn't come from a "hairy" family?

IT'S TRUE THAT IF YOU SHAVE MORE, IT'LL GROW IN FASTER... SO JUST SHAVE ALOT, AND IT'LL GROW IN FASTER AND DARKER THAN B4

Is it possible to grow facial hair if I didn't come from a "hairy" family?

Just shave a lot and it will grow like crazy after a while.

Can masturbation cause hair thinning or hair loss?

I whack off at least once a day maybe more and my hair is thinning.

Can masturbation cause hair thinning or hair loss?

READ THIS :- Masturbation. Most people do it 閳?yet so many people worry about doing it! That's because there are a lot of myths out there that masturbation is dirty, dangerous, or something to be embarrassed about doing. But the truth is, masturbation is safe and healthy, and it's here to stay. People of all ages do it. Guys do it, and girls do it too. Single people and people in relationships do it. Some people do it a few times a day, and some do it a few times a year. Let's get to the bottom of some of the masturbation myths that make people so anxious about being caught red-handed.

Myth #1: Masturbation is unhealthy.

Maybe you've heard that masturbation makes you blind or damages your sex organs. This couldn't be further from the truth. Masturbation is not physically harmful in any way. In fact, it has a number of physical and mental health benefits 閳?here are just a few:

Masturbation releases stress and physical tension. Many people masturbate to relax, and it can help some people fall asleep.

Orgasms 閳?whether they're from masturbation or sex play with a partner 閳?can act as a natural painkiller. One study from 2001 found that orgasm can ease migraines faster than medication. Some women masturbate to relieve menstrual cramps. Research has also shown that orgasms may even prevent endometriosis, a disease of the uterine lining.

One recent study found that frequent ejaculation from masturbating may reduce a man's chances of developing prostate cancer.

Plus, masturbation is the ultimate form of safer sex 閳?there is no risk of pregnancy or infection.

Myth #2: Only people who can't "get any" masturbate.

Here's an interesting fact 閳?people who have regular sex partners actually masturbate more often than those who don't. Some people are concerned when they find out their partners masturbate 閳?they wonder, "Why would someone masturbate when they could just have sex? Does this mean that my partner isn't attracted to me?" But many people 閳?both in relationships and single 閳?masturbate when their partners are unavailable. Some use masturbation as a kind of "dress rehearsal," to learn more about what they find pleasurable. People can learn about their bodies through masturbating, and this can help them communicate better with their partners about what they enjoy sexually.

Myth #3: Girls don't masturbate.

Some people think that it's OK for guys to masturbate and have sex, but that girls shouldn't. Unfortunately, our society is often more comfortable with men expressing their sexuality than with women, so many girls are taught not to masturbate 閳?or not to admit to doing it. But the truth is, girls and women do masturbate, and there's no reason they shouldn't. In fact, one study showed that women who masturbate have higher self-esteem than those who don't.

Myth #4: It's bad to masturbate every day.

Some people masturbate every day 閳?or even more than once a day. That's fine. So is there such a thing as "too much" masturbation? According to counselors, it's only when masturbation gets in the way of daily activities 閳?like going to school or work, or meeting friends 閳?that it would be considered "too much." And not many people have that problem. Also, some people worry that masturbating frequently will affect a girl's fertility or a guy's ability to produce sperm. It doesn't. A guy may find that he has less volume of semen if he ejaculates frequently, and his semen may contain less sperm. But that doesn't mean that his sperm count will be reduced in the future. The testicles produce and store sperm beginning at puberty, and sperm production continues through most of adult life.

So forget those rumors of hairy palms and shrinking penises. Masturbation is a safe and healthy way to relieve sexual tension, explore our sexuality, and discover what feels good. Let's give ourselves a hand 閳?or two!

Can masturbation cause hair thinning or hair loss?

No. But get used to masturbating if you're losing hair.

Just kidding on the 2nd part. Now, seriously, most hair loss is male pattern baldness that comes from genetics. Not much you can do to stop it, but plenty you can do to slow it down.

I created a website to share my experience. You might get some ideas on what to do.

Hair thinning??

i want to thin out my hair but im afraid that if i dont do it often i migth make it worse is it true

Help with outfit & hair.?

tomorrow, i am saying my speech infront of the WHOLE school :S so, obviously, i wanna look good. k, so, for my outfit, i am wearing a purple babydoll kinda shirt, dark blue skinnies, and black flats, with a purple bracelet for an accesory. BUT, for my hair, i want to do something different, like make it wavy. i have naureally straight, thin hair, that doesnt do much. I shower every morning, so is there a quick and easy way to get my hair wavy? preferably taking between 5-25 minutes. 30 tops. thanks ! xoxo, megg %26lt;3

Help with outfit %26amp; hair.?

why don't you curl it.

good luck on your speech!!!:)

Help with outfit %26amp; hair.?

use volumizing shampoo and condiotioner than if you have a volumizing mouse gel of spray or a beach spray might help bring out waves if that does not work curl it go to herbalessences.com and there is a really good video that shows you how to get that nice wave in your hair watch it

hope i was helpful

Help with outfit %26amp; hair.?

I really like te outfit you have planned out. Getting you hair wavy can be really difficult. If you have time tonight, I would practice first to make sure you get it right, and there aren't any mishaps tomorrow morning. How I get my ahri wavy is curl it, using a little hairspray every now and then. Once it's curly, I would flip it around to get it a little looser and that should make great waves. For quicker results, you could use hot rollers, but for cleaner curls, I would use an +1" iron. Another way you could get it wavy, but not too wavy is to make loops of hair around your fingers, then pin the loops to your head with bobby pins. apply a little curling cream to the loops before you pin them up. Also add a little hairspray when they are all pinned. In about 15-20 minutes, undo the loops and add hairspray to the look. This method takes a long time, and is also a big hassle. I wouldn't suggest doing this. You should definitely test the method you are going to use tonight.

Good luck! I hope I helped!

I have very curly and thick hair, i want it to be long and thin, it is three inches long, what shoul

u gotta let it grow....duhh.....it won't be long and thin unless u wait till it grows out or get extensions...how old r u???

I have very curly and thick hair, i want it to be long and thin, it is three inches long, what should i do?

grow you hair out to the length you prefer and then go to a salon and have it chemically relaxed it's like a perm but stright it's only a 6 month fix tho and they are quite expensive!

after it's stright the stylist can thin your hair using a razor bladed comb it you just say i want my hair relaxed and thinner they should know what to do, but expect a lot of maintence and don't attempt this at home you could burn the hair off your head!

I have very curly and thick hair, i want it to be long and thin, it is three inches long, what should i do?

You Can't Make Thick, Curly Hair "Thin And Long" You May Be Able To Remove The Natural Curl But, You Can't Make It "Thin" Only Time And Growth Will Make It Long.

I have very curly and thick hair, i want it to be long and thin, it is three inches long, what should i do?

1st off honey, you don't want "THIN" hair...then you'd be complaining about that. get a good stylist who can advise you on a good cut and thin it out with razor shears. let it grow out look through hair mags for a good style. there are many ways to straighten the hair...even the most curly, from chemical to irons. straight hair always looks "THINNER. " it's even better when hair is straight and thick....BEAUTIFUL. in the meantime wash, deep condition and have regular trims every 3-4 months. a good hair vitamin wouldn't hurt either..speeds growth. you sound like you have a beautiful head of hair that many would kill for. just love it and you'll be cool. blessings.

I am finding more and more hair in the sink. Could my kids be stressing my hair out?!?

I have a three year old girl who never listens and a 9 month old girl who never sleeps. I am stressed, the more sleep I loose and the more I have to yell, the more my hair falls out. Could this be connected or is there another reason why my hair would be falling out, malnutrition or such? I'm only 22 I should have thick hair of a youngster not thin hair like my 46 year old mother.....Any ideas? My diet is pretty balanced and I take a vitamin everyday. Maybe it's my birth control? I tend to lean to the idea of it being stress related...

I am finding more and more hair in the sink. Could my kids be stressing my hair out?!?

I know what your saying but I think that once you have children your body goes haywire. I mean I get really scared because when I wash my hair and add conditioner I notice my hair falls without force. But I mean chunks of it and its really scary. I found a trick though. Ask your hair stylist to trim your hair and explain to him/her whats been going on. They know exactly what to do when they trim your hair. Also they may refer you to a product.

It's work for me temporarly at least. See, it's when we were pregnant we had all this vitamins and all this good stuff because we had a little bundle but that little bundle takes all your nutrients and then your screwd. Some ladies feet stay big or teeth arn't as straight as before. Some hair fall out. You name, thats the price as mothers have to pay.

I am finding more and more hair in the sink. Could my kids be stressing my hair out?!?

Absolutely. Try taking a good multivitamin for 1 month and not getting stressed as much as possible for 1 month. At 22, I would bet the farm you will see improvement in 30 days.

I am finding more and more hair in the sink. Could my kids be stressing my hair out?!?

it could be from stress, lack of vitamins, brittle hair, or alopcea ( hair loss) see your doctor

I am finding more and more hair in the sink. Could my kids be stressing my hair out?!?

are you sure it's your hair?

I am finding more and more hair in the sink. Could my kids be stressing my hair out?!?

It could be your birth control because they contain hormones. I lost a lot of hair when I became pregnant so that could be another factor. Its more than likely stress and hormonal imbalance.

I am finding more and more hair in the sink. Could my kids be stressing my hair out?!?

Well I'm 19 (going 2 B 20 next month), and I have 4 daughters. I know that's allot. There ages R, 4,3,1,and 7 months. And now that U mention it my hair falls out allot 2. I think it is because of the stress.

I am finding more and more hair in the sink. Could my kids be stressing my hair out?!?

have your thyroid levels checked. Low thyroid or malfunctioning thryroid can lead to hair loss, dry skin, brittle nails.

I am finding more and more hair in the sink. Could my kids be stressing my hair out?!?

You don't have enough sleep. Drink more water too. Go excercise to get more energy.

Hair problem!!!?

I have really thin hair and i want it to look thicker or actually BE thicker but if thats not possible just look thicker im kinda thinking like selena gomez's hair (when its straight)

Hair problem!!!?

i love her hair too...

get extensions. alot.

or ask a barber how u can do it.

Hair problem!!!?

I have a friend who used Rogain for Women and it worked really well for her. You can also thing about getting a semi-permanent fall.

Hair problem!!!?

get loads of layers

Hair problem!!!?

I would suggest Internet search, and scrunching it. You take some gel or mouse and your scrunch your hair. It makes it full, thick and curly! It's also a very popular style!

Hair problem!!!?

straightening your hair is cute, but it makes hair look thinner. try leaving your hair down and teasing the top and adding a cute headband.

Hair problem!!!?

selena gomez is hot.

Hair problem!!!?

to make hair more full

blow dry some hairspray on the roots of your hair, but blow dry them the opposite way they should fall on your head

hope i helped

Hair problem!!!?

you should maby try putting hair extentions on

Hair problem!!!?

I have CRAZY thin hair myself.

Your best bet is to reach more volume.

Teasing(back combing), blow drying upside down...

But be careful, neither one is very good for your hair.

I personally have clip in hair extensions.

My hair looks and feels thicker, and since there clip in, i can easily take them out, and they're not damaging to my hair. Sally's Beauty Supply sells them from around $70-120 for the better quality ones. If you're interested get 100% human hair.

Hair problem!!!?

oh just shut up , your a failure in life. you will probbly of lost all of your hair by age 20. but that is okay, if you were a hat and crawl into a hole no one will notice!

love,

beatress the god of hair

Hair problem!!!?

when you get out of the shower try

taking a blow dryer and and shaking your hair

with your fingers and dont keep the blow dryer

going in one position shake it side to side

or if you want it poofy go crazy while blow drying haha

and if you want curly thick

curl your hair

and brush through the curls

hope i helped

i dont really know how to make it look thick if its

really thin id have to see in person

but hope it works out for ya

Hair problem!!!?

use bedhead or a more thicker shampoo

using thin shampoos such as vo5 are just cheap

to have beautiful nice in the middle hair use panteen thats what i use and it works wonderously

i love it

but thicker stick with bedhead

Hair problem!!!?

I used to have really thick hair, but I layered it away when I cut about ten inches of my hair off. I eventually got tired of how flat my hair looked, and this is what I do in the mornings to get a little more volume:

1) First I use a little mousse (just a dollop, but I have short hair, so adjust as needed). The mousse I use is Herbal Essences Set Me Up. But I've also had success with got2be products. I use my fingers and comb it evenly through my hair, starting with the roots in the front and pushing back. I also like to use a comb and go through lightly after, just to make sure I don't get any mousse-y chunks.

2) Then it's time to whip out the blow dryer! What I do is I part my hair (I part it a little to the right, but just make sure you have two halves to work with), then I take the right half first and flip it over, so that the "bottom" part is up and all my hair is more or less on the left side. I dry the "bottom" of the right half, then I switch and flip the left half of my hair over, and dry the "bottom" of that. Then I lean forward and try the underside of the back of my hair.

3) It might look a little hectic after that, but if you brush/comb it down into what you want and then hairspray just a little, you should notice that your hair seems to have more volume. (I use Herbal Essences Set Me Up hairspray, so that I don't have like a helmet hold, ha ha.)

Hope that helps! :)

Hair problem!!!?

i dont know if you would want to do this but i would recomend getting some thin floss hlightings in your hair because bleach actually swells the hairs cuticle making i more pumped up and fuller looking and fuller feeling. Also i would reccomend buying pureologys volume shampoo and condition its very pricey www.pureology.com you can also find it on ebay cheap. If you are looking for something more cheaper i would reccomend suave proffesionals volumizing shampoo compared to matrix amplify i am pretty sure it is in a purple bottle. Also try not to wear your hair up much because it causes strain on your hair. And when you get out of the shower apply a volumizing/thickening mousse to your hair so it can lift the roots and make your hair appear thicker/fuller. and i would go get a round brush to add volume to your hair while brushing it.

Hair problem!!!?

If your hair looks really flat and thin, try cutting it with layers.

it adds volume to your hair and makes it look fuller.

I need a new hair style for straight long hair!?

I have alot of long, straight, thin hair and I want a new style. Right now I have layers ONLY in the front and think it's really boring. Can you people show me some pictures of hairstyles, but I don't like hair above my sholders ok! Thank you!

I need a new hair style for straight long hair!?

Hair Help.?

i have fine thin hair.

i dye it. i try to wait as long as possible before dying it again. which is usually 1-2months.

i straighten my hair every day.

and i shower at night. i sit my hair in front of a fan to dry it.

i need to know which is the best shampoo and conditioner combination that will keep my hair in great condition.

and DO NOT tell me to stop straightening my hair or to stop dying it.

that will not happen.

thank you.

: )

Hair Help.?

Vive Pro works soo good for my hair, and my hair is pretty damaged from using a flat iron too... But I don't dye my hair a lot so I don't know about that.. But there are Pantene ProV thinkening shampoos at walmart.. Not that expensive either

Hair Help.?

your hair must grow fast, because needing to dying every 1-2 months is quite a lot. try to wait a little longer between dyes, and don't straighten it everyday. like days when you aren't going to see everyone. i would definetly get a conditioner for damaged hair. the brand doesn't really matter. you don't have to stop doing what you do, but try not to do it every day.

Hair Help.?

honestly , no conditioner/ shampoo is going to really thicken your hair. fine hair is just the way your hair is and thats not gonna change,

Hair Help.?

i would use garnier frutisc, it makes your hair as smooth as a bunny!

Hair Help.?

Pantene, Nivea for your type of hair!

Hair Help.?

I reccommend Aussie, John Freida, and Sunsilk Shampoos and Conditioners. They all work very well and keep my hair very healthy.

Hair Help.?

Sorry then, You may need to see someone about your thinning hair loss! See your doctor they'll refer you to someone!

Hair problems, help, pleeease!?

my hair is so coarse and even damaged, that it almost looks like i have bald spots wherever my part may land. its even got around skool that i DO have a bald spot! and idk, does anybody have any advice for my such thin hair on top of my head. =[ please!

Hair problems, help, pleeease!?

Use a repairing shampoo like Bumble %26amp; Bumble Alojoba or Infusium (repair)ologie or store bought ones. But do not use PANTENE!

Hair problems, help, pleeease!?

Nope sorry. Go to a cosmetolagist or something.

Hair problems, help, pleeease!?

Did you do this to your hair by bleaching or heat styling your hair too much? There is not much you can do... treatment products only go so far. Deep condition as much as you can... Ojon makes a great hair oil/deep conditioner (you can buy from sephora.com)... if I were you I'd cut your hair short and start over, that's what i am doing... natural hair usually looks best.

Hair problems, help, pleeease!?

ech, what did you do to it.

Hair problems, help, pleeease!?

Is your hair thin because it was damaged, or it just your natural hair is thin? You may want to try mixing a couple of drops of tea tree oil to your shampoo to stimulate your folicles to see if you can get more hair to grow.

Also, try working with different styles to avoid parts. You can wear your hair back with a head band, or ponytails. When you do plan on having a part in your hair, try to get your hair to dry in the opposite direction, this will make it fuller when it goes into the part that you want.

Hair styles/cuts?

I have somewhat thin hair and it's very straight. I have had the same cut for a long time and I'm real tired of it. I want something cute, crazy and different. any ideas?

I like big and volumized and not what everyone has.

So if you have an idea.. That'd be great

here's my current hair

http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee2/t...

I want something exciting

Hair styles/cuts?

put some weave on it like they do on americas next top model...or just make it curly...it would look awesome!

Hair styles/cuts?

get long layers

Hair styles/cuts?

You have great hair!! Maybe try some different colors or put it in rollers but dont do anything permanant cause it looks great already.

Hair styles/cuts?

personaly i love the short hair look but idk if u could pull it off... i coudn't see you face lol it was scribbled off. if not that swoopy bangs are really cute to and for a crazy look you could get purple highlights! i think that would be realy cute and diferant but don't get a really strong shade of purple make it calm so it's not too crazy... sry i definently no hair stylist... good luck! : )

Is this kind of hair style cute?

I have long, straight dark brown hair. It's about to my mid back. Lightly layered, and parted down the middle. I have thin hair, but a lot of it. My hair stays pretty flat though.

Sometimes, it gets wavy if I let it air dry or get caught in the rain. :)

Is that good or bad hair?

Thanks!

Is this kind of hair style cute?

That's really pretty hair. We all like seeing really long %26amp; straight hair, the really heavenly and ethereal-type of hair. But you may want to add some volume to it, if you wish, since you wrote that it's "pretty flat." So I recommend using some of Frederic Fekkai's products for volumizing hair. [See source]

A little pricey, but a little goes a long way.

It works really well; I've tried his glossing creams %26amp; conditioners, and I have a similar hair type to yours.

Hope this helps!

Is this kind of hair style cute?

good i guess

Is this kind of hair style cute?

very good. you probly hott.

Is this kind of hair style cute?

GOOD :D

Is this kind of hair style cute?

your hair sounds a lot like mine!

but, i would recommend getting bangs or side bangs, but if you get regular, straight across bangs make them to your mid-eyebrow so you dont look like a 1st grader! =]

you just need a little..... pizaz. =]. do something with it, intense layers or something. but i think you'd look great with somekind of bangs. =]

Is this kind of hair style cute?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone's going to have a different opinion.

Is this kind of hair style cute?

it sounds good my hair is like poofy and thick and weird

Help... hair extensions ????

Help... hair extensions ????

i'm sorry but there really is no other way.

i've worn extentions for 3 years now and the only way is glue on, clip in, braiding and the wig sorta looking ones.

here's a website that will help you.

http://loriswigsite.com/hairadditions.ht...

it doesn't show all types of extentions.

but i think you're better off with the glue on extentions.

Any tips on a curling iron for hair please?

heeeyyy. any tips on like what brand or type of hair curler to get thats really good and healthy for ur hair?

and like for curling my hair when do i do it. like after i shower when its a bit damp or something?

aah. im like a total butt when it comes to like hairstyles.

help please?

well appreciated.

btw i have thin hair. not sure if thats gonna help with anything but yeah. THANKKKSSSSS[;

Any tips on a curling iron for hair please?

NEVER straighten or curl wet or damp hair. it damages the hair really badly. wait until your hair is dry. purchase a bed head curling iron they work FANTASTIC.

Any tips on a curling iron for hair please?

Use a treseme heat tamer spray so you don't damage your hair! and to get really good curls, I use a lot of hair spray %26amp; prostyl gel. But since you have thin hair, you may want to purchase some big 99 cent rollers. they work wonders. L0L.

Black hair????

im black and i have about shoulder length hair, and i wanted to know...how or what can i do to make my hair grow???? please help. PLUS+i have sort of thin hair. thnx

Black hair????

I too have black hair. it is very thick partly because i've used shampoos with panthenol . i tried main %26amp; tail shampoo %26amp; it does make the follicle thicker. pathenol is natural b-based vitamin shampoo available through vitamin catalogs like swanson.com,

%26amp; also i searched a question about my hair on here %26amp; found a great pack of information free the site is :

http://geebal.blogspot.com/2006/2008/nat...

it showed me how to dye my hair %26amp; how to naturall y touch up the color. i used the coffee on mine %26amp; it gave it a lot of body! %26amp; feels good too.

a good b-complex vitamin will help %26amp; that's what you'll find in a multi-but not necessary all the supplements you'll need.

when i used to get perms, my hair would grow like crazy , about 1" a month!! but i've let it grow out %26amp; it grows a littl e slower %26amp; it is more trouble not being curly !

good luck.

Black hair????

maybe you could try google searching hair growth shampoos? i don't really know much about it. good luck!

Black hair????

main and tail shampoo

Black hair????

shampoo/condition it like usual

relax it like usual

what you should do is trim the tips wet/dry (preferably wet)

dont butcher just trim

it makes your hair grow back thicker and longer

Black hair????

you need to deep condition it every other week....pick a good deep conditioner like hair mayonaise and blow dry it for a minute or so. also, stay away from gels and grease. grease clogs the hair shafts in your scalp.

trim the split ends of your hair once or twice a month, and your hair should grow. =] happy hair growing!

Black hair????

I suggest that you start taking Vitamin D or any type of Prenental Vitamins, this will cause your hair to grow "healthier".

While washing your hair, massage your scalp so you can allow the blood to circulate, which might promote some growth.

IF your hair is relaxed, make sure you only relax it about every 2 months..more than 2 months will be better too.

Make sure yo get your ends trimmed every 6 weeks to a month.

I hope I helped.

Hair ideas?

i am a brunette with really thin hair i was wondering what hair things i should do??? like pontails and other things.

Hair ideas?

since your hair is thin you can scrunge it.

you can also put it to a side ponytail and curl it if you like

you can do pinktails and braid them or just the pontail with no braid

these are some styles i do for school

hope that helped a bit

Hair ideas?

umm leave it down some times and half pony tails u kno

Hair ideas?

is it straight or curly?
