ok my hair is so thick! but i want to grow it a little long and soft/thin. any suggestions? i hurd you can thin out hair but i dont know how. im a guy btw.

The only way you can make your hair "thin" is to cut it.
It just takes a certain kind of haircut.
Try getting a cut with some long layers.
