Teasing Hair NEED help and answers PLEASE?

I wanted to tease my hair (I straighten my hair usually, and I have pretty flat and thin hair) I shower every morning before school, and blow dry it and straighten It. Anyway I wanted to tease it, so I bought Bed Head Hairspray and a teasing brush. I know how to tease hair (i looked it up on the web) but when it gets tangley it looks horrible. How do I tease my hair and afterwards make it so it doesnt look so bad?! PLEASE help!

http://ie.youtube.com/watch?v=6g7uipOSOB... i wacth this video like a million times but wacth it and what she dose to make it look smooth is she teases it from the back of the hair ...not the front like you section your hair and then go from the back adn backcomb then you use hairspray and then you use some hairspray!!! and a soft balled tipd brush like she has i have a purple one lol and you smooth it over softly and three you go

big tease poofy smmoth hair and another thing garnier now has a hairspray thats anti humdity..so i wanted to get that one cause it will help smooth down some of teh ratty ness of the nappy teased hair

You backcomb your hair underneath...then smooth the hair on top over it. It's hard to explain...just don't pack it so tightly...only backcomb a few times...never more than 5 or you're getting into tangling and damaging your hair. Use the pick end of your teasing comb to smooth the hair over what you've backcombed.

The best thing is to lift up the area you want to tease then put the comb on the under side of the hair and go up about 2-3 inches from the root and to the comb down towards the root, then repeat as needed. I also suggest a light hair spray afterward. If you do this on the underside of the hair it should not look like a tangled mess. Good Luck!!!

I have the same kind of hair as you, basically, and I do the same stuff to it. But usually, when I tease it, I put in a root booster, %26amp; then blow dry and straighten. And then after I straighten it, I use wax %26amp; stuff, and I tease it with my fingers and then hairspray it. It works pretty good.

this isn't bout teasing, but if you want really big hair use Garnier Fructis XXL . It works sooooooooooo well.
