Wave hair with or without ghds?

I want to wave my hair to make it look nice but firstly my hair is extremely thin, i have the thinnest hair you will ever see!

also i have wide plate GHDS and i couldnt curl with them as they are wideplate, i spent ages trying to do it so i guess i wont have much with waving as its a similar thing

anyone any ideas on how i can wave my hair easily?
