Is waxed hair thinner?

if i wax my course thick hair... will it be thinner when it grows back?? will it be the same color.. i have dark hair... if not how can i lighten it?

It won't be thinner or lighter, I'm sorry. When it grows back, it comes in less sparse, so I think that would be the best bet for now, unless you want to try laser.

It will not be thinner or thicker when it grows back. If you shave the perceived thickness is really the blunt end of the hair. Waxing is ok but not perminent, expecially if your hair is dark. I have tried everything on my hair and haven't been happy with anything I have tried until I did do laser. It cost me $150.00 and took 3 treatments but it looks GREAT! Worth every penny. I have heard that even lasered hair can grow back but it takes 5 years or so to do so. Dark hair and light skin is the perfect combination for laser treatment and it doesn't cost anything to get a consultation.
