Thick or thin--how can you tell?

i know this might sound a little strange, but i was wondering how you can tell whether or not you have thick or thin hair? i have been looking up hairstyling tips and they tend to give advice based off of your hairs thickness, so i was just trying to figure out which i have.

Thick or thin--how can you tell?

hair can be thick or thin in any texture (curly, straight or wavy). It means how many stands you have per square inch, like how thick a carpet is. A good way to tell is how well you can hold all of your hair in one hand.

1) If you can hold all of your hair easily with your pointer and thumb and can use any small thin ponytail holders to put it up, it's thin.

2) If you can hold it easy with one hand and use normal ponytail holders or schrunchies, it's medium thickness.

3) If it takes effort to put it in a high ponytail and almost a hand and a half to tackle it and you have to use schunchies to keep it up, you have thick hair.

Thick or thin--how can you tell?

Thick hair is thick and thin hair is usually flat.

Thick or thin--how can you tell?

if you have alot of hair, its thick, if you have little hair and you dont look like you have alot, its thin. but getting a perm makes it look alot thicker if your struck with thin hair. but it causes alot of damage. at least i dont have thin hair!

thin hair doesnt take long to dry...at all. you can also style it quicker. thick hair takes forever.

my hair is thin...and honestly it sucks. my styles never look as pretty as girls with thick hair.
